Ahh. I know this is for Tom Clancy games and all that, but I have a problem. I've had AoE2 for the longest time. I've got the latest update of it (1.0.5) and the latest version of OSX (10.2.6). Well I decided to bust out the game again and start playing. Well... On the start-up menu screen and during the game, I can't read any of the text. The colors are all messed up on the text. Other than that, the game runs fine, but it's really hard to play when you can't read the objectives and stuff and see what's going on. I've tried re-installing and re-updating the game and it didn't help. I haven't tried running the game in OS9, mostly cuz I hate OS9 and it'd probably crash in it anyways. Anyhoo, has anyone encountered this problem, or have an idea on how to fix it? Any help would be appreciated.

Seeing as I don't use OSX, I don't know how much I can help you, but in OS9.2.2, its never crashed on me and its only force quit on my when it ran out of memory after I've been playing it for 4 hours. So if you really want to play it, do it in OS9 (unless some help comes for OSX)

Do you have the Silk Haxie installed? If so, you can just put AoE2 under the list of applications that it won't affect. Same thing happened to me a long time ago, and I just uninstalled the Silk Haxie and voila.
