a2 is entering its second phase. The clan has been set up, site running, and enitial members arrived, but i could really use some veterans of old games like RS and R6. GhR requires a good scope and the ability to spawn camp an insert.

America's Army is a team based game with crappy scopes.

A) There can be GhR vets, but there ain't many that aren't either R6 or RS vets. Bucc is the only one that pops off the top of myhead.

B) |MP| will be playing AA as a clan. Jewb, Alaric, and I wil be running it on G5s. along with Bucc, Loth, and others on G4s.

I believe that Attila is the only real GhR mac vet out there right now.  He's played the game for over a year now and is still damn good at it.

Spike, it's a strategy board game that is played with small wooden chips, there's a computer version of it in 3D but it's only for PC.

Theres in fact people out there that can be considered GhR Vets. People like me who also own a PC  and are able to enjoy the trill of playing a game waaaaaay before it comes out for the MAC.  What I remember, theres a quite of few PC gamers in the MAC Gaming Community.

May be i will meet u guys on the battlefield - maybe I will play on my g5 ( when I get my g5 I surely will ) - but it will need another 6 Months before I can offord a G5 :-)

Ahhh! this game was developed for the United States Army a while back. Its a marketing tactic. This game should engourage young teen to become  'Freedom Fighters". I totally forgot to sign up, damn!

I was planning to join the army, then Americ'as Army came out. Now, it uses up all my time, and I simply have no time whatsoever for anything else.



AA is a game made by the army. It's a free download. You can find it at versiontracker or macgamefiles.

j47, I too have a PC, however, even if I'd had one far before GHR had come to mac, and been playing it, I wouldn't be a "GHR vet". There's simply no such thing as a "vet" who's played in this community for 9 months, no matter how long they've played the game in other places.

I got my new 2.6 ghz pc w/ 800 mhz fsb and GeForce FX 5600 128 mb video card recently. I'm still setting up my room nice and then I will dl all the new games including AA:O 1.9

When I get my name and shit installled I will tell you what it is and maybe we can hook up. But I dunno if you would want a "pc user" in your apple clan, lol. I might start my own clan which a bunch of good guys who live on my block. We all have bangin computers and headsets so we will be a good clan if we choose to make it. Theve been playing the game since it came out so we will start out strong. If we keep in touch, rebel, hopefully your apple clan can scrimmage against my pc clan.

Just one thing, when my clan beats yours.... just because I have a pc, you better not accuse me of cheating or I will fly down to florida and kick your ass

Guys-

Over this weekend  I Dled it and played it. Its good for a "Free Game" but it lacks maps, very bad. There is no respawning. You think the lag on RS was bad, Ive seen guys get shot by 2 and the F***er still didnt die. The squad are preslected, which mean, 6 assult (M16), 2 grenadeirs(M16 w/ GL), 2 snipers, and 2 automaticrfiles (SAW). You would have to select the sniper quickly before some one  else. Whats cools about this game is the fact thats you can pick up any of dead soldiers gun. Your own team or Oppossing Forces. The games are Timed. Most at 10 min. Oh, you cant tell the difference between your team and the Oppossing Forces until they get up really really close. So watch your fire!
