All of you seem so sure...but have all of you face a situation where you have had to kill a man? Except from GS I dont think so...and its so easy to say you would. Ive thought about it(been in the army, not considered killing some stranger) and I will be honest and say: I don't know". How could I live with myself after knowing I had taken a life? Perhaps I could have justified it with "my life or theirs".....but I dont know. So dont be so damned sure, because I dont think you really know before you have to.

only people that carry guns here are cops, drug lords, and crazies. fortunately, there are very few crazies, most of the drug lords dont kill potential clients for fun, and the cops... well, they took down a crazy german in amsterdam with like, 30 bullets. of which 6 hit. how's that for shitty aim?

so, in the current situation, i dont expect to ever have to shoot a man, nor have a gun.
home security is provided by a regular cheap wooden baseball bat on each top floor.
dutch burglars in this rural area are pros with stealth, not crackheads with guns.

all that aside, if somehow it was ever "the other guy or me", i just dont know.
