RS Hub

Well, I've come to the decision that I really cannot run RS Hub at this time. Making it tactics-oriented is something only a few sites have accomplished, some sites haven't even finished their tactics section (Pie's Tactics) so it is foolish of me to believe that, having a few months experience with RS, I can write tactics manuals.

Also, I really don't have the time for it, I have just discovered some major flaws in the design I was planning on, so that would push it back some more, and I have a full-scale clan to run and a new site to create; quite busy...

The best tactics advice I can give new players is to watch player who are good, feel free to ask questions of them, I know many veterans are quite willing to answer questions about how they did a certain thing, or how they got somewhere so fast. It really is all about learning from other people. I never really got that until late 2000 when I started really paying attention to good players and how they did stuff, that REALLY improved my playing a whole bunch.

One more thing, since Postal is starting up a tactics thing... His will most likely be better then mine as he relies more upon strategy and tactics to get him through games, instead of my playing style which is more: hang back and then suddenly pop at. I wish him luck at that great endeavor.

Umm...thanks Wrath.  Put all the weight on my shoulders, eh?  No, seriously, I'd be happy to answer any questions people have about tactics.  Yea, I'm still working on a *DAMN Ops Manual for *DAMN members only, but I can answer some questions.  Maybe you won't understand them...maybe you will.  I don't know.  All I can tell you is that I know a good deal about tactics (my team always wins in paintball, heh) and imply them in R6 and RS.  Just feel free to ask if your having trouble.

I suppose I could have kept it going with some help, but I would prefer to dedicate my free time to POD and redoing the website (which is coming along quite nicely) and to playing R6 and RS. It takes a special kind of person to run a big news/tactics site, which I am not... I've been so busy lately with RS Hub that I haven't even played Nato3 yet, even though I've had it for awhile!
