if it's gonna be out today, tell us your computer Specs Ross!  That way we can compare our systems to your system and guesstimate how it will run in our computers!

Also, is it OSX only?  Will it run on 9?  How much RAM did you have?  How big is the DL?

From IMG:

?The game plays great on a Dual 867MHz G4, though if you're able to play Unreal Tournament 2003, you shouldn't have much trouble with America's Army: Operations either. As with that title, a number of settings are available to tweak performance depending on the power of your hardware.?

This is what I know:

Its finished and final is done.

The development guy said this "ArmyOps 1.7.0 for the Mac is gold. It should be available later today."

So the game is done I guess were just waiting on the army now.

I looks like we might even be testing v1.9 soon.

And my computer specs are:

iMac G4 700Mhz G4
512 RAM
32mb GeForce 2MX

iBook 800Mhz G3
32mb Graphics
256 RAM

It works good on both.

Well, you've had two years to update now, and if you still haven't, I suggest you do.  If you can manage it financially, Mac OS X Jaguar is around 130 dollars knowing, that prices are expected to decrease further.

Good point.  Considering the fact we are with less and that we have two years' delay on them, they'll force hard times on us, which makes it more difficult to catch up on them.  But, no worries: I have a feeling we'll manage through alright.

I don't get it.

So far there's nothing on www.Americasarmy.com or www.insidemacgames.com.

Hmm. So where is it? I'm anxious.

Oh they'll probably release it tomorrow after the mac community strangles Steve Jobs for not updating the PowerBook line.  This way the release of AA will even out with the non updated PowerBook line.

You are missing something.

Typhy, add to that list people that still have ATI Rage 128 video cards too.  They are also SOL.

Interestingly enough, Rapid falls into both of those: ATI Rage 128 and no OSX. Ah well, when you've got that low of system specs, you likely plan to update relativly soon.
