Yep aggassi wen through in 4 sets i think... It was clsoe.. he only actually won a few more games.. several sets went down on tie breakers..

Was a cracking game though. Aggassi is really looking inpressive.

Henman also's through in a 3 set match... mind you it was up against an 18 year old fin.. who wasnt seeded i think!

That's great, because I had a feeling Agassi wasn't going to get through.  I didn't see the match entirely, but it wasn't looking too good for him: El Aynaoui was leading 1 set to love.

Who is Agassi up against next?

I'll be watching the games on TV.

Eee. Not sure actually... they got a breather now over the weekend so not really a squeek about it..

I think the way he is playiing though means that it doesn't matter too much who he goes up against.. although him against Hewett or sampras would always be entertaining!

I won't be jumping off a bridge after all, but I am however very disappointed in Agassi: indeed he lost to Philippoussis, in 5 sets, 3-6 6-2 6-7 3-6 4-6.  They both played very well, no doubts there.

Did Henman win against Nalbandian?  I'm hoping he has, strangely enough.  As aforementioned, I do not like him.

Also, Roddick won against Srichaphan.  I haven't entirely seen the match, but I did stumble across the highlights of that day, and watched Roddick serve for match point.  I must say it was very intense.

Excuse me while I go jump off a bridge with a sign that reads: "Agassi should have won!"

I was really hoping history would repeat itself and Philippoussis would choke.  But oh well.  It was strange watching Agassi not flinch a muscle on some of Philippoussis serves, being the best returner in Tennis.

Philippussis hit somthing like 45 Ace's in his game against Aggassi... It was simply shocking... although the servers aggassi did return were somwhat auwsome on occasion Wink

Yep Tim Henman is through to the last eight guys... he won in bit of a nail biting 5 setter... dominating the first.. then struggling a bit... but coming back with a strong finnish. was a good game to watch!

So the top three seeds are out... game on!

Which do you prefer, women's or men's tennis???  Seriously, in terms of athletic performance, without notions of sex b/c of the women.  Myself, I prefer women, I don't know why, but tennis is the only sport where I prefer to watch women play vs. men.
Every other year, the men and women, substitute playing b/w Montreal and York Univeristy (my university btw!!) in Toronto and this year in Agust the women are here in Toronto at my university which is only 15 min walk from my house, so I will try and get tickets to watch a game.  Haven't decided who to watch, I used to love to watch Capriati years ago b4 the drug arrest she had, when she was alot younger and skinner.

Anyway, gimmer yer thoguhts!!

I prefer men's tennis, if that is what you're asking.  The rallies are more intense, and the serves are amazing to watch.  Also, the ability of some of the players to precisely control the placement of a high-speed serve is very impressive.  This is something you rarely witness in women's tennis.

Go Roddick!

Well Henman is playing as I type... after a short rain break in which he left 1-5 games down he's come back to break serve, and now hold his serve to make it 3-5 in Grosjean's Favour....

About bloody time a Brit won wimbledon... Pity Rudseski can't be the guy to win it Grin

Fun and games eh!

Well, it seems V. Williams has won against Clijsters.  Too bad, because I was really looking forward to the her success at Wimbledon, and maybe even win the tournament.  Both of them played very well, with some very exciting rallies at the end.

Has Roddick won against Bjorkman?  I couldn't follow the match because I was busy doing something else.  Doing what precisely, I won't say. Grin
