I did one thing once that would justify a perma bann.How do you know. It says connection refused when I log on.

You would definately know if you were permabanned, the server is just down right now, dont worry...Smiley

Instead of the connection refused message, you also get a message saying "banned" with the time left in the ban showing.... be it 5 mins or 21 days (or perma).  I've only actually seen the 30 min ban for chat flooding (I didn't think it would happen in a PM).  So I'm just assuming that the longer bans show up the same way.

I believe the "correct" wording is:

*Suspension remaining: Indefinite*


Could be just a lucky guess...

hell i have told evill off before he just cowards, and kicked me once. =D DOMINATION.

but when i 1st got GR like a little less than a year ago, i went in the construct as a noob, and told evill he was gay, i got a permaban on my imac =D, hehe i can probably get on now, but i forgot pw =(

KDX is a hack program for grifter so every time you log in, it gives grifter your passwords to every thing and all accesss to alllll your files!!

only in the 30k's? damn! mine's in the 70k's, but that's only because my computer has gotten fucked up so many times and my ISP changed. I think i started somewhere in the 30 or 40,000's, still noob by any standards.

Don't listen to Oso, he's been bitter ever since I showed him how that timed ban feature works on KDX... heh.

Asterax, My servers are running on 768kbs/768kbs SDSL now.  Seems to be plenty of bandwidth.  Not T1, but not bad.  I had a business class connection wired up when Comcast started restricting uploads around here.  I went with the SDSL because to serve web sites or files I needed the higher upload speeds (all the ADSL and XDSL around here is 1.5Mbs down/128kbs up).  Which would mean everyone would be splitting that big 14K per second download at best.
