i've seen something like this before. really eye opening for some self-centered americans. i was kind of wondering about the 10% gay thing, how could they possibly know that? even if there were an international gay survey, what about people that are in the closet? it seems unquantifiable.

     My guess is that it's statistical. I've heard that before, that one out of ten people is homosexual. That would presumably account for closeted individuals as well, more or less.

The 10% figure isn't very scientifically strong.  7% is more towards the number of homosexuals...and then there is another 20 some percent that are bisexual.
