I personaly think that the maps of Graveyard and Training Maze should be ban, as well as the SAW, RPD, and 21E3. If a clan lacks skill, they can just choose Training Maze, grab an RPD, and turn it into a game of luck. Is that really what we want this to come to?

Psh. Nothing wrong with either map. Graveyard isn't a "turn around the corner and there they are" map. There's a gazillion places to hide and snipe from. Training maze is a very cqb map, but there's no reason for it to be banned. Just because certain players aren't good at really short range doesn't make it a bad map. That's like saying we should ban Bunkers or Sib 1 because I suck at shooting people that are farther than 5 feet from me.

If they have RPD's, lay jammers and lay in wait with pistols...when they wildly run around the corner, shoot them in the back.

This is what I love about Raven Shield...after the first few bullets from a light machine gun (RPD et al), the gun starts moving you and you end up shooting your own team if you stay on the trigger.

Casper and I cbed Freak last night and they picked hotzone and amazon.  Then I purposely picked graveyard and training maze and killed them no problems at all .  Typhy, weren't you the one saying that they do have skill ?

Oh yeah, they picked Graveyard on us too!  FrEaK Techno(Tiger) got a saw and simply pulled the trigger and ran.  He was able to pick off AngryDad, but when he ran into the back of his teamate, and I ran straight into the both of them, they both ended up dead right there.  Strategies can Back Fire  

Part of CB's, are strategies your opponent might use.  If they think they have a chance with a RPD, SAW or 21E3, let them try.  If you can't counter attack it, then they beat you with that strategy.  Guess you'll just have to go back to the Drawing Board.

All I have to say, you gotta go into CB's prepared for ANYTHING.  People ARE allowed to do these things.  Doesn't mean it'll always work!

Hi, jackal here..annoncing that after 5 months of MoH and Jk2 whoring..i am returning to RS.

Now my reason to post...

Why is it every few months someone bitchs about our maps...Dont you guys use the same maps..i loth the fucking chemical compound and the god damn storage depot..to me those maps are stupid.  Now i dont agree with my clan mates useing the rpd and such..those guns cause lag but to ban the pdw?

When i play MoH, you use the gun for the situation..if i am with the axis i use the StG 44..it has the power of a BAR with less recoil and its accurate at long distance..in war or fighting,  you want the gun that can get the most bullits, in the most accurate and fastest amount of time.  This is what the PDW does, granted its cross hairs and recoil are..um exaturated.

I personally love the pdw, cause RS isnt like a MoH game..in moh you can dodge shots..while in RS you just fucking side step or run...and the side step isss soo slow.  Because of this you need a gun that get the bullits there..so please stop complaining about this and that..shut up and play..do i complain about heart beat sensors..NO...so dont caomplain becuase we use jammers and your sensor doesnt work.

And as far as noob clan goes...the clan was formed by happy and shadow..than my old clan UDT..and some of my buddies were let in the next few days..we pride ourselves in playing hard, having fun, humping, and remembering that its just a game.

Hope I didnt piss anyone off by telling what i feel is the truth..HUMP ON MY FREAK BROTHERS!

well Zak, if you ask Grape, since you whined so much on the day, I offered to redo that game. You had fled though in a fit, and even your own clanmates said not to worry about it.
If you had been there, we'd have done it over.  NOT because it's a newb BS move to do that map with any weps, but because we're stupid newbs who wanted to have a good time as well as compete with your awesomeness.
Only stupid newb bSers like us would even bother to offer a redo. Especially in the face of such apparent disrespect.

I'm sorry we're still considered such a newb clan, but until Clem comes to  his senses and sets some limits on what maps are used, what weps are used, and which clans are allowed to claw their way into the BL finals, hell even be allowed into the BL. Jeez, MA80, +A+ and Freak had better watch out, we might have to open up the 2nd tier league so you can all CB your own vetern elite selves. Might make for better standings if hot clans had to cb with each other instead of picking on newb clans like ours when they want to get sure wins.

  Very well put by my sincere friend, happyJack. I myself don't believe in us being a "newb" clan, since I view everyone the same. Our clan is filled with many people. Young, old( happy ), teens, etc. With all this backround, coming from many different place, with many different upbringings and experiences, I can't possibly see how we are inferior in any way to any groups of people.
 We play for fun, we recognize RS and everything else on GR is a game, and we enjoy the fun and company of each other in FrEaK. I think that is most important. So enough on this forum for me, just have some fun! And keep it clean and respectful.

I personaly think that the results of CBs should come down to which clan has the most skill, while I said earlier that the RPD, SAW, and 21E3 should be ban, I'd like to take back that comment.

I have no problem with "cheap" maps, like SIB1, Storage, and Amazon, because, with good skills, you will be able to fight out of those.

The two maps I have problems with are Training Maze and Graveyard. Graveyard because it's shit on some graphics cards ( I get like 25FPS on it, for some reason, on a 64MB ATI, not sure if everyone has this problem or not ).

Training Maze because it turn it into a game of luck. You go off into the center of it, and just run around endlessly ( jammers set of course ), the person who ends up behind the other wins. No skill involved, just luck.

I doubt that there is any clan out there that picks Graveyard or Training Maze because that's the map that their skills work best on. They pick those maps because they're looking for fluke games.

An example: Let's say KoS is CBing against *DAMN ( I'll use inactive RS clans ), and *DAMN sees that their skills aren't nearly as good as KoS'. So *DAMN picks Graveyard, hoping to get a fluke win because of choppy graphics. They win 2 fluke games there. They then move to Training Maze, and run into the middle with RPD's, then win 2 games there, suddenly, it's 4-0, *DAMN leads KoS, all on an account of cheap maps. It's not easy to come back from being behind that far, no matter how good you are,  or how weak your oponent is.

Cossack, about your "then let's ban the PDW and HBs".  The PDW, while considered by some to be "cheap" is just a simple gun. I can own about 95% of PDW users with a G36K, A4, A2, or Steyr Aug. If Maze and Graveyard were as widly used as the PDW, then banning them wouldn't even be considered.

Heartbeats: I've played tourneys on the PC side without HBs. . . All that it does is take away from the game. HBs are an important part of CBs, just like pistols. I've caught lots of people by carrying an SA sencor and Jammer. Set your jammer and sencor ( usually at Storage, blue ), set them outside the gold base, locate your oponents jammers, shoot those out, and you've got them on map. It adds to the game, and makes it require more skills - The skill of knowing where to set your HBs.

Since it seems that people are giving their opinion of the Freak clan, I'll give mine: I love you guys. You're good players, and have great sportsmanship. I've had many enjoyable CBs against you. You're a funny kind of clan - I've learned the hard way never to underestimate you guys. You've beaten many top clans; AK, MP5, FiRE, RnT and KotA. Good luck next season, and I look forward to some CBs against you guys.

That sounds like you win by luck, too, and by who can hide their HBS the best. Wowie zowie. I'd hate to be the clan that's the best at hiding HBS. As for Graveyard, I've never had any problems video-wise. The only objection I've seen about Graveyard is that it's crappy on video cards, but I've never had problems with that. I think Graveyard is a good, solid map. Training Maze isn't just a map of luck either. You run around endlessly on that map just as much as you do on any other map. The only difference is that it's smaller and you have walls, so you can't shoot anyone from the other side of the map. I don't think that a map should be banned just because some people don't like it, and because it isn't in wide use. Some clans might practice solely on these two maps, just to throw people off in CBs. Before |U| was around and started CBing on Chemical Compound, how many people actually ever played that map in a regular game? I don't think I'd even seen it before until I was in one of NH's games. I hate that map with a passion, but I don't think it should be banned. To each their own.

Do or edit a map with just a simple floor with no places to hide and lez c the sucess about it

I think not Snipey,
     I've been playing R6/RS/GhR for @ 4 years or so. And a lot of FrEaKs have been playing a while too.
     As far as Cbing and shit goes, yeah our clan is some what new. A lot of our members were never in a clan before FrEaK. Besides, we are not in a Clan to win the Battle League and say "our perverbial member is bigger than yours", we are here to have some fun, be part of the community and just play the game.
     If you don't like our tactics or the maps we pick, sorry, but you all have the same maps to pick from as well as the same weapons. With the exception of CSL, every map has its advantage and every clan picks their map based on that advantage and how they think that they can exploit it. The better clan is the clan that can start with the disadvantage and still come out the victor in the game.
