Yeah, I played it for a couple hours on a friend's laptop that he brought over.. pretty good.. didn't get to try out the MP, tho..
The tangos were just as impossibly accurate as in R6 and RS, tho.. never had a chance once they see you.
Anyways, Casper, the only thing Macs are good for is graphics design and all that good stuff.. PCs are better for everything else. They are faster, cheaper and there is a lot more apps out there for them

Since no one would listen to me in the first place, here's a bit of my spices added to it: (answering to Ace's and wrath's posts) No Ace, they're not lies. In fact, I agree with wrath on one thing. Macs are made for graphics, but are faster than any other (newer) PC models on the market.
Even with games, Macs outrank PC's. Funny, isn't it? If you say PC's suck - which in general terms means you don't like the way they are built or the way they perform - bear in mind that it is the operating system (OS) which does not draw to YOUR standards. I personnally think the OS on PC's (Windows?) are grotesque and unbearable (ugly). It is slower than any other MacOS, ugly... I can make a whole list... Take, for instance, the "new" Windows? XP. For me, XP (xperience... go figure...!) is nothing but a simple, but draft copy of MacOS X.
Anyhow, Macs are not better, but are not worse either.
Like myself, I own both a PC (1 Ghz) and an 400Mhz iMac. You should learn how to use both. I agree I play more games on my PC than I do on my Mac, but when it comes to artwork, designs of any kind, schoolwork, I turn the power switch of my Mac on.
Coming on to my final statement, Macs are stuck with this problem, since the first "real" models came out, with "incompatibility". This is a problem, a real problem I mean, which isn't solved yet. I dearly hope it will.
Another issue here are the prices of them. The day the G4 Quicksilver 867, 22" flat screen came out for sale as an example, it was worth about 2 to 3 standard issue PC's. Heck, the 22" flat panel was worth a PC already! Now, of course, you can get this model for a cheaper price, which is good.
Last remark to this - design. As you may already know (if you own a Mac, who doesn't?), Macs don't keep their standard CPU and monitor models to where PC's do. After a few years, people wondered what the computer of the near future would look like. Macintosh? in a way was inspired by the idea. Remember the G4 Cube? So the CPU itself looked like a toaster, and the price rate was elevated, it was a renewed model. I must confess at first I was overwhelmed by the look of it, but in a good way only. You could say I was fascinated by it, in some sort.
Erm, I wonder what happens if I put bread between the G4 Cube's spaces?

I played Ghost Recon for about 20 minutes, and thought it completely sucked balls. R6 and RS totally OWN it, no question. And Im sure Raven Shield will ass them all.
As far as PC vs Mac goes, the only thing peecees have over a mac is the gaming issues, lots more games and quicker release dates. Otherwise youd be a fool to own a P(iece) of C(rap), and thats the real deal. Aside from the fact that the only sort of style they ever come out with is what they rip off from Apple!!!

Pcman, without solid, concrete reasons for your last answer to this, I'm afraid your statement has no meaning at all.
This might just be a wild guess, but I believe Nomad(KOS) is the one hidden behind Pcman's secret identity. I remember the avatar picture. Nomad might not be the only one with that picture - guess you know now why I call it a guess.
It might be the symtoms, but I have a strange feeling I'm right about this.

Im not gonna go into the PC VS Mac issue. Think its starting to get into a religious type of issue now. But back to the issue at hand ^.^ I got the demo for Ghost Recon and the graphics on it kick ass so far. The world is in a nice 3D texture, just like a certain map (I dont know the name of the map) but its really nice. The interface is really different from R6 and RS. Just like some one noted about the Riflemen and stuff, thats how different it is man. You cant actually choose your gun properly. The multiplayer is pretty nice, yet you arnt able to fully see behond a certain point. Cant animate the textures at a distance, well, for me any ways. Also, when you play a MP game, you dont see any countdown to when the game is going to start. It just, starts? really anoying to me since I am a hella newbie at it. I gota say something else thats tight. Medal of Honor: Allied Assault kicks ass so far dude! Holy shit its tight!!! Oh well, back to TV. Dexters Lab is on hah

Actually, The reasons that PCs are cheaper is because their they suck basically, Most PCs last about half as long as macs, and while there are less programs out for macs, the ones that are out for both run much better on macs.

Beefy is right. PC has lots of more proggies and games, but mac is teh state of teh art graphic computer. Yes, Mac actually sux @ games, but don't blame the makers, they never wanted a gamestation. Go buy a PS2 ffs. the speed of PC's isnt that good. I know 1.6 Gigahertz sound fecking much, but it's proven that many games on mac require alot less Mhz then a PC does. PC just needs more Mhz, so they have 2 be faster, but compared it's not that much faster. Btw, ne1 already heard about that Japanese manufacterer, they produced a computer which is 5x as fast as the current fastest computer of the world. That would be faster then a mac

sorry to burst your bubble, but the fastest computers in the world are not macs.
crays, suns, and other supercomputers eat terraflops for breakfast, far more calculation than a mac can do in a day
of course, last time i checked, i didnt have to have a liquid nitrogen cooling system for my imac

nope, that is no bluff
some of the fasest computers today use liquid nitrogen to cool the chips
others encase the chips in plastic and use a waterfall to cool them
either way those chips get HOT
