having trouble with mods

i havent had any luck getting a bunch of mods to run, it lets me go thru breifing, and then it just quits GR. Ive tried in both os9 and osx. im running a 500 mhz G4 with 900 mb of ram.

the dam, firestar's total reversal, new cold war will run

postcards from peru, saving pilot ryan, brit marines, industrial and carabbean all die


any ideas?

no i dont think it is that, ive run the updater and the main screen says that it is 1.4.0

Did you port these mods your self im just wondering where you got these because they could be pc files

they were all downloaded thru the *damn downloads section, (gamespy). nothing ported by me

Hmmm they should run fine even on my old iMac I can play them. They all require much RAM so make sure that you allcolate at least 200MB RAM to Ghost Recon in MacOS9.

At all I can't imagine what's wrong. Please try the Postcards from Peru. Start a new single player campaign(Postcards). And try to start it. If it crashes please open your ike.log at your Ghost Recon folder and post the content here.

first, thanks for all your work keeping this site running, you have added a lot to the fun ive had with R6/RS and now GR.

i never had any problems like this with RS, which is why i am so confused. first, i have GR assigned 800 mb of ram, should probably be enough

i opened GR, deactivated all the modes except desert srige, activated peru, quit and relaunched GR, this time it let me start the mission, but eventually quit and crashed. that's the longest that its stayed up, tho.

i then tried the same activate/quit/relaunch with caribbean missile crisis. it quit before i got to the game play

Same thing happens for me with the Dangerous Babes mod.

I'm patched, and most of my mods work fine.  But the game quits when i start the mission (going into the briefing screen).

It does it on my G3 in Os9, and my G4 in OsX

Hmmm strange things are going on here. Well I never tried CMC or dangerousbabes after I updated to version 1.4.

I just tried it and same issue with the dangerous babes mod. I just looked at some PC websites and it is also an issue there. Maybe some script commands are no longer valid with patch 1.4.

Sorry about that but I can't do anything against it. The only thing you could do is to have a second GR app with version 1.2 and trade it if you want to play some mods that doesn't work.
