teehee... perhaps I should review the ?K site
alrighty then... let's go in the order that you see things
1) Intro Page - Not bad. cool little firing animation, but it's kinda weird that you can see the letters through the guys. looks almost like they're cut in half. The glowing tag at the bottom reminds me of some ooze, but that's just because of the shine on it. could be better if all the greens were the same, matching.
2) 2nd intro page - Very slick looking. Highly faded and not a lot of color, but the look really works for it. The way the upper tag is faded works excellently, looks like it is bubbling out. I get some minor pixelation on the logo, but not bad for only 59kb. Could prolly make it even smaller if it didn't have the big sapcers on the sides.
3) 3rd intro/ page - I generally despise hit pages (unless I make them, of course) so I just think this is kinda silly. I'm getting slightly bored with intro pages.
4) 4th intro page - Ok, these intro pages are starting to get onto my nerves. Am I ever going to see the real site? A "skip to main" button on the first page wouldn't be a bad idea. The images itself looks great, and how the lense flare matches the thin ?K in the backround is great, but the little blue glow on the guys crotch seems out of place.
5) Main page - Well wouldja look at that! we made it through the intro pages(hint hint). So, we got the regular star logo, that's all good, a little banner, a big photoshop and some buttons. Not bad overall, just some minor qualms about the guys shooting into the ground and the noticable lack of rollovers(yes, I <3 rollovers).
6) News page - Well, first thing i notice is the picture on the banner changes which is good. Second thing I notice, the whole banner shifts to teh left about 20 pixels. Minor annoyance, but it's nice when navigation things stay put. Nice faded logo in the backround, but again with some minor pixelation. The banner a bottom is pretty cool.. kinda girly text though. I'm not gonna say anything about the content... restrain yourself capt... don't say anything about the content....
7) Roster Page - Well, nice to see some peopel use the unis mods. Nice use of all the diff unis, some easier navigation, perhaps a list of members on the left or right that links down to them on the page. The little pictures are all blured, which is slightly annoying, especially since I know all those unis look badass.
Screenshots Page - woah! blue! where's this come from!?! where's my greeeeen!? Anyways... kinda neat to see a diff color. Only real thing i have to say is that last picture would make a great intro picture if you spiffed it up. an hey.. why not have 5?
9) CB's page - Plain and utilitarian. Has pixelated backroudn image. 'nuff said.
10) History image - Foudn it by accident, and it's hard to read and has no navigation. Very big change from the black background. doesn't fit in with the site. It's the black sheep, so to speak.
Overall, not too b ad. Definitly has its own style, the graffiti-over-the-top stuff. Not my fave, but you could prolyl have some more fun with it. Also, I think it may be time to spray a new ?K logo, the old green tag is getting worn kinda thin. Navigation is easy, load times aren't too long, some minor annoying graphical things, some good stuff, and the news section can provide HOURS of entertainment. *smacks himself* I mean, not bad overall, but it could be better. I'm no big fan of ASCI, but to each his own. Has some of the better graphics amon clansites, but still no match for the almighty Capt.
oh.. almost forgot... the GhR squadron page... it's just.. yea... not really intergrated with anything. Still has pixelation on the logo.
