I've come up with a very simple solution to solve everyone's problems! First, about Rabid. Instead of everyone trying to get him banned from *DAMN and the BL, why don't you just ignore him? He has a small, small, small chance of ever getting into a clan anyways, so why should you even care about what he's doing anymore? Even if he does get into a clan, we all know he won't be in there long enough to do anything. Next, Rapid. Yes, just about everyone has a bone to pick with Rapid. Rapid is the type of person that loves to debate. Why give him the chance? You're just giving him what he wants. If he posts something that annoys you, just ignore it. If you post something back, we all know it'll end up in a flame war. This just annoys everyone (Especially the mods), and just ruins the whole fun-happy atmosphere that *DAMN used to have. I'm not necessarily picking on those two, its just they seem to be the center of attention right now. Also, don't turn this into a spam thread by posting something pointless, or I'll just lock it. If you have any other ideas to solve this situation, other then having the two banned from *DAMN or the BL, feel free to post it. I know all of this stuff is pretty much common sense, and what people learned in kindergarten, but everyone needs a refresher course once in a while. And..ah..hope this doesn't look like a spam thread.

Well great. I'll be absent from GR for 5 months and as usual that's when the juicy stuff happens. Rabid's just a lost puppy dog. He wants someone to pet him and tell him he's a good boy. Feed him a couple kibbles n' bits now and then. Just ignore the slut for a while and maybe he'll get the message.

Sounds like a great idea Mellow, stop flaming them and perhaps they'll stop flaming everyone else. If not, just ignore them.

While you are right about debating, the solution is quite more simple.  The times that I ever have to answer, is when people want to flame up against me or my clan, thinking they will have the upper hand in the situation by doing so.   They have found out, and made an example of, that you cannot come in these forums insulting |?K| or myself without a reaction to deal with.  In fact, most get insulted on the reaction they get from me because of it!  Go figure!  

I agree that if we all can keep mutual respect for each other, this will be a happier place to visit.  

If respect can't be established, Moderators simply have more "flames" to delete...  

You won't see me around unless duty calls!  

Now get out there and have fun and don't get caught up stereotyping others!

I came up with a (sorta) brilliant idea last night. Although it would encourage flaming, we could have one thread in the General Gossip section specifically created just for flaming. It would let everyone vent and such, and any flames outside of the thread would be immediately deleted. In order to keep the thread from taking up too much space, it could be deleted every week or so, then remade. I dunno, just a thought.
