Macworld Games....

Yah... It was a pretty good time./ They didn't give away as much as last year, and it wasn't as good in my opinion. I'll get into what most of you guys are interested in: the games
First off, Aspyr assured us of the best lineup its ever came out with this year with titles such as Halo and other huge names. I'll give you an overview of the games there:
Unreal Tournament 2003: If you liked Unreal Tournament you'll LOVE this! They had it networked up at Macworld so you could play against a buddie. The graphics were awesome, the game play much more hard hitting. Top of the line for Unreal Tourney.
Medal of Honor Allied Assault: You must bring a few friends JUST for this. 7 computers were networked together (one being host who didnt play) so people could compete in survivals or 3 on 3's. It's awesome if yah got some friends to play with.
Jedi Knight II - Kicks ass. You can seperate body parts and stuff like that. Most of you know about the game. It's pretty awesome...
Soldier of Fortune Double Helix - TO DIE FOR! Graphics are cutting edge, gameplay was awesome there (who knows here on my POS computer) Storyline was intense. Seemed so tight
Max Payne - Graphics were beautiful. Matrix like feeling when you shoot, everything slows down, you can see bulletrs whirling toward you. Then things seem to speed up when you run.
All the games above have awesome storyline and graphics and are a good deal... Now to the bad:
Die Another Day: The graphics were good and storyline not bad, seemed REAL cheesy though... The graphics gave me a headache after about 15 minutes and the plot got boring too quickly. Talk about a tough time to aim, the mouse either goes too high or too low, never where you want iot to go. It seemingly leapt across the page (probably making my experience suck) I didn't like this at all...
Unreal Torunament - I just dont like the series due to lack of storyline. Anyonew who likes Quake 3 or UT will love it.
Alias - When we got to the game center at Macworld Alias movies were playing. It was hyped up like all hell and the movie they showed made it look good... But when I actually played it it was quality crap. Fight scenes are serious shit. Everything is exactly like the tv show. If you ever watched the tv show, dont by the game.
In between:
Freedom Force - Well... It's like Captain America meets Grand Theft Auto 3. Its in Captain America's above view and with a good guy captain america character, but you go around and kill bad guys and stuff... You walk the streets. I had no feelings either way about it... So... yah..
Heroes of Might and Magic IV - I put this soley in here because my mom spent like an hour at the booth (it's her favorite game). Its like the other Heroes of M&M except with bigger battle screens, more and different units and races, more and different spells, more castles, and better graphics. Mom will love it. Unfortunately, they didn't actually have any for sale at Macworld....
The other games have been out for a long ass time (most of these have as well) so, I won't go over them.
As for me, I made out with Jedi Knight 2, Soldier of Fortune Double Heelix, and Medal of Honor Allied Assault... My mom bought herself Knights & Merchants and Zork "The Incurrsion". Now I just gotta find a computer that can run my 3 pwnage games. (Hell, I spent a paycheck on em)
I wish GR went to MacWorld. I looked for a GR booth, I woulda chilled over there and looked for peeps.. Ah well, I gotta own at MoHAA and SoF2!

christ ben, you need to focus less attention on your banns and more attention on getting a new computer.
pyrex, just remember that even though i don't play MOH regularly, i have, and can still own the shit out of you
, Then you come play GHR and i'll own you
, then we can duke it out at RS and i'll own you
, i could even own you at that snake game on my cell phone
. You could posibly dominate me at Ares, but that game is for women.
(please pardon the run on sentance, assault on py's skill, and horid spelling errors. It was mixed drink night)

Good news, my graduation present this year is a NEW COMPUTER OF MY CHOICE! if nothing else comes back I s'pose I'll go with the G4 tower, but if something else pwnage comes... hell Yah...
Also, I tried playing MoHAA on my computer... Wow, my computer can't handle shit
... I installed it on my moms laptop early this morning though, so we'll see how that runs for me tomorrow.
I know I can't run the other two on this computer either... JK2 will run on my moms laptop, I heard SoF2 needs a SERIOUSLY AWESOME video card and processor. Maybe it won't be able to run that. Plus I still never installed Jag on the pismo.
Love yah Jebby

LMAO JEB! Bring it slut. I'd like to see you pwn me at moh now. I've become better than the last time you played....which was 5-7 months ago. I'm usually at the top of the player list in almost every game. So just bring it.

SoF2 requires OSx I think, since the application is a .app. JK2 didn't work for me on os9, so that may require OSX. Oh, and get one of those customized G4's, and max it all out, unless you have to pay for it.

What pisses me off is how just a year ago Apple releases a new design for their computers. Then within 3-5 months everything is changed and a new operating system is released. So now all the new products will be tailored to those new machines and the folks who got jipped in the beginning stay jipped.
THANKS APPLE!

What pisses me off is I buy a quality (at the time) 3dfx card, and then 2-3 weeks later, 3dfx is bought out by Nvidia who drops all of 3DFX's projects.
THANKS NVIDIA!
