The Great Pot Post

It been my observation that a decent number of R6/RS players on GR have or do use the wonderful weed. So, with that connection, I start the Pot Thread.
First with the three ways to use it
rolled, pipe, or bong. It is my understanding that it is harder on the lungs if you roll it as you breath the burnt paper as well as the good smoke. With a pipe you only get the smoke you desire, and with a bong it would be easiest on lungs as it is mixed with steam. Anyone want to clear my understanding on this?
As a Libertarian here in the U.S. I of course support the legalization of pot as well as the repeal of the sin tax that taxes people for "immoral" actions such as smoking cigarettes and drinking. While I am religious, I don't believe God gives a shit about drug use or cursing without hostile intent . They aren't acts against fellow man or against god. The gov has no place to be our moral inforcers, only to make sure each person's personal rights are protected from another.
BTW, it may seem like I'm more of a pot head but actually I've only smoked it once, and it was nice.
Either way, I feel Europe largely has the right idea in the political, they let people have personal rights, they help promote a decent living for all, and they are very peaceful.
End Bondo's Pot and Politics Rant

I dont touch it anymore but I totaly agree on the legalisation bit, but not the reduced tax on cigarettes, why should I breath in others smoke, but thats for a differnet thread.
I read somewhere that if the government [UK] were to cattegorise alcohol it would become a class A band substance.
Shit aint it

Thats a question I do have, what is the legality of drugs in England. I want to move to Europe but since I only speak english my options are somewhat limited. Obviously alcohol is legal (they'll never get the scotish and irish to stop drinking), tabacco is legal, but is pot or other drugs legal like in much of mainland Europe. Hehe, either way, I can take a train to Amsterdamn if I want anything so it isn't essential
I just really want to get out of this country so in a few years, England, here I come. Now if only I can find a job there.

warez is an off-topic subject in the forums, but illegal drugs are not...
anyways, Mort and I have had access to a substance equally as potent as weed and legal for a long time now. It sparked the creation of the Janitors. It is known as...
Fresca.

fresca lol...
i think pot should be leagalized, throughout your whole life anti-pot propaganda has been shoved in your face and most if it has now been proven false, or not proven either way... pot is mentally addicting, not physically like tobacco, alcohol, and caffinne. no one has ever died from smoking pot, and since it is smoked less that ciggarettes it doesnt fuck up your lungs. if u smoke a joint or a pipe u get a lot of smoke, but with a bong (water) the THC bubbles through and everything else is left in the water. in alaska you are allowed to smoke in the privacy of your own home... i wish it was like that in all states. i say stay natural, and the legalization of all other drugs would be a bad idea, i know it would be there choice for them to use them and if they get killed it was there fault... but they put others peoples lives in danger. like drinking and driving. also other drugs like heroin, coke, etc.. are very addicting and people usually die from overdoses..

thats all for now folks.

I've never taken any drugs - but I can help BONDO with his question regarding the UK - pot is illegal here, still, but the police are currently experimenting with not charging casual users - this is at least true in certain areas of London - Brixton, certainly. There are moves here to legalise some drugs - but you may find yourself needing to go to the continent for a while yet...

All you Spicoli wannabes need to put the bong down. Weed is bad for you, and don't try to argue otherwise with me. I can look at a number of guys I know and see the effect of weed. Hell, let's just take a look around the forums and see some of the notable smokers and anti-smokers:
Spicolis: Bander, zak
Non-smokers: mort, blackhand, myself
and wrath -Wrath
Any questions?
BTW, Squirt rules, Fresca drools.

For one thing, anything I say is on topic because I'm DAMN
As for my other argument, I would have no intention of using it consistently but it is a nice way for relaxation, sure there are some health risks but you have health risks from doing everything. Life is short, breath it in with some nice feelings.

Ahem, I tottaly argee with Ace and Viper on this issue, but just to clear up a few potheads on one issue, pot is not a legal substance in my home state, Alaska. There have been several atempts in legalising it for private use however these have all failed. Don't ask me why I'm responding to this pothead topic though. ***runs away with fright with viper***

Hey you anti-pot people, do you feel it should remain illegal, or would you be fine with it being legal if those who used it couldn't in public. ?Are you so anti-pot that you'd take the other's choice away to protect yourself?
BTW, Water kicks every other drinks ass.

BTW blackhand, if we consider this forum based in Austria, home of Mauti and Bander, then we aren't talking about illegal drugs.

true bondo.
I do not support legalizing pot for three reasons:
-10 year old kids.
-It might open up the "floodgates" and I don't want heroin, cocaine, acid, etc. following suit and becoming legal.
-I don't want my life to risked because of some idiot driving under the influence of weed.

The UK probably wont legalise pot because of the cut they probably make in the illegal selling of it (Im so sceptical its unbelievable
]
As far as I know there are plans for legalising it for medication in what form I dont know. Up North the police cant arrest you if you have small quantities they just confiscate it and toke it in the back of their Transit vans, well they might do?
It should be legal anyway, whose more dangerous a piss head whos been drinking angry juice like Cafferies or a weed head who got the munchies and cant be arsed getting up??
Maybe thats why its illegal, the British government would lose out on all that Tax from the drop in alcohol sales.

Unlike my esteemed non-smoking collegues (for I also do not smoke)I have no problem with the legalization of the wacky weed. I think we need to legalize it, tax the hell out of it, and regulate it. For what it's worth, I feel the same about prostitution.
As for other drugs, the punishments should be more severe then they currently.
Fresca, I guarentee, has just as many dangers, and less benifits than MJ, and I suggest it for those who want to "walk on the wild side"
Medicinally, it is used in some pill forms, but still has yet to be legalized in its more potenet form, inhaled. that will come soon enough though.

Even though the (Libertarian) Party wouldn't like the whole taxing thing, as a concession to get both pot and prostitution legalized I think it would be acceptable. BTW, for you people who think it would endanger non-smokers, as long as it was used in the confines of one's home there would be no real danger. Unlike massive amounts of alcohol, pot doesn't make you lose your mind and do messed up things, and it also doesn't make you hostile. It just makes you mellow and calm. While it would be dangerous to drive in this state, as long as you didn't you would be no danger to society.
