Jeb's right. Getting headshots with a pistol is easier than with a PDW anyways. If they were using aimbots like everyone says they'd have like 75-100% accuracy every game. It might seem like they're getting you with the first bullet but in reality they're probably unloading a whole magazine at your face. That's what I do with a pistol, and usually after about 3 shots it'll finally stop missing and get ya in the head. Of course, they're even more 1337 with pistols then I am, so they might be able to pull off a headshot with 1 or 2 rounds.

I decided a long time ago that i wont play vs xoclipse again. i dunno why but i couldnt kill him and also got shot by 1 hit all the time. it was just impossible!

and i remember that xo also posted a link to an aimbot-site out of the internet. that was a long time ago...

     I'll grant you, the circumstantial evidence is just suspicious enough to make whether xo is using or has used an aimbot an open question in my mind. But to accuse Ultimo of it is specious, and to accuse Rapid of it is downright stupid. First, Ultimo plays on a Mac, and only on a Mac. Second, if that wasn't enough, I and many others have watched him play very carefully, scrutinizing him. In my case, it was because he's one of the best around, and I wanted to learn his techniques. There was no magic. Just uncommon skill. In Rapid's case, he's just plain not good enough to make anyone seriously think he's using an aimbot.

Are aimbots even possible?  It seems to me that I have talked to a few vets (though I cant remember who at this moment)  and they said that there is no such thing.   Maybe I'm wrong.

     There are no aimbots or other hacks for the Mac client to the best of my knowledge. I spent a few days intently searching for any such, a few months back, but found nothing. The hacks on the PC side were mostly made by one guy, who is an expert disassembler. He disassembled RS's DLLs, figured out the code (from assembly!) and produced patches that modified certain aspects of gameplay, such as bypassing the no-aimbots setting on a host, among many other tweaks. Basically, there's no hacks on the Mac because nobody's gone to the trouble of disassembling the Mac client to acheive the same end.

     Saying there are no aimbots is patently false, though. The PC side is rife with them.

  I've heard and believe that AimBot's are only able to be used on PC's. So you would think if you played on GameSpy everyone one would use them. But They don't. I guess there real, and it makes sense that if xo uses his PC he could use one. But he is a very good player and most ppl who used a AimBot after a month or so, stop or quit becouse its just so fucking boring with them. The game is supose to be a challange, If u get headshots all the time and shit, wheres the fun?

it should also be mentioned that the aimbots on PC don't work in urban ops. They where made for Normal RS.
Now lets see some proof of the aledged aimbot rather than people who won't admit that Xo is a good player

Okay how about the moronic comment about the sniper rifles killing in one shot to the head.  Whoever said that is a noob, my bitch, and a retarded human being.  So let's analyize this comment:
#1.  Sniper rifles almost ALWAYS kill you in one shot moron.
#2.  How the FUCK can you say it was a head shot??  Does it say "Congradulations, a Headshot" on the scores screen afterwards?  NO
#3.  Sometimes on hosts it will only show the host's numbers for # of bullets fired, etc, at the end, and everyone else's numbers will just be all 1's.
#4.  I have gotten thousands upon thousands of one-shot kills, 9mm right you your damn head.  So answer me this noob, If me and xoclipse come into a room, waste our primaries, switch to 9mm's, and start firing, and we don't hit each other for 2 clips each, then finally he gets me and it happens to be a head shot, and a one-shot kill.  WOW, HE MUST BE USING AN AIMBOT.  (of course forgetting about the whole 2 clips he just MISSED with) (DUUH)

So as you can see noobs, when you take one bullet and die, you have been OWNED, not cheated.  If you get killed why don't you look at the NUMBER OF BULLETS FIRED.  If it's 34, then OVBIOUSLY he missed and wasn't cheating.  If it's ZERO then the stats are just messed up, it gets like that sometimes.  Count your losses and move on.

There are a few aimbots for UO, among other things that can actually be worse...... but I wouldn't want to give you guys any ideas to riot on.

Xo is good. End of story. I played a lot with all the *NiX people and yea there good and basically just own but there not unkillable.

Gorf, not all aimbots are made to produce a one shot kill.  There have been some in TO that were made to just make your shots way more accurate and give the oppents a harder time of figuring out if you have a bot or not.  And thanks to a great clan named "Elf" with their famous Elf bot, they allowed people to turn it off and on in game with ease.
