Rogue Spear being ruined by hacks?

From what i've read from pc RS sites, and like assassin stated, there aren't many cheats avalible for urban ops. No average script kiddie can make a aimbot, you have to know asembler.

also there where 2 things put into the aimbots which you can type into the chat to see if someone is using them.

"+VeRTigO     - typing this will reveal the words "#fuckme" if the user is     using an older version of Vertigo's program."

Hey guys.  My name is Adiabatic.  I know this post is just about dead, but for those of you who do see it, I hope you read it.

Xoclipse is a person I've known since gradeschool, since 3rd and 4th grade, correspondingly.  Not to give his name away, xoclipse has been my best friend for many years now.  The kind you grow old with.  He's always been honest, trusting, caring, sympathetic, funny, and one hell of a great friend.

Now onto the "aimbot" bullshit.  Xo is an expert programmer in my eyes.  Sure, he might not be the expertest expert out there, but no one is perfect.  I personally know that he has MADE an aimbot.  Okay?  In fact, he stated that ONE TIME he just tried it out to see what happened.  You know what he told me (keep in mind I don't play RS or anything, so he'd have no reason to randomly im me and feed me bs)?  He said, Steven, it's awesome that I was able to make this aimbot, but I don't like it.  You know what he said about it?  He said it MADE HIM WORSE.  He's SO good, that the AIMBOT actually takes away from his game.  AND, to supplement that statement, let's all consider how boring it would be to play like that.  In his words, "It would be too boring to play with an aimbot, I might as well just have never played and gotten good on my own at all."  So guys, there's a statement for both sides.  Xo has used an aimbot once, in a completely guilt-free unimportant match.  Some public game that doesn't matter.  And second of all, Xo really is super l337 and can pwn all on his own.

A few months ago I stopped playing jedi knight 2.  I was a household name in that game, right up with diverse.zen, the crow, team =x= (the executioners).  I was |aod|.adiabatic.  And I was goddamn good at that game.  I'm sure at least one of you can confirm this somehow.  I have no doubts to it.  Anyhow, I got so bored with the game all on its own at a certain point I didn't even want to play.  I had figured out every bug, level fix, special move, secret place, hiding spot, way to win, and otherwise had become so good that it was boring.  There was no challenge.  And let me tell you, I never did and would be the last person to use some sort of kill-bot to accomplish that.  I got good after around 4-5 months of playing as vertigo, qvplite, and adiabatic.  After many (wasted) hours of gaming.  And let me tell you, it's a waste of time to worry about it all.  It's a goddamn game.  When you stop playing a game, you realize how dumb it was to waste THAT MUCH TIME on it.

Anyways, what I'm saying is this... all you accusing bastards need to get your head out of your ass , because it's one big load of horseshit.  Xo is naturally good at all games, especially those he plays with frequency.  He's just a smart, fast-learning kid, end of story.  So lay off!  Just because you noobs don't understand the intricacies that are obviously in every open GL game, and in ALL GAMES ANYWAYS, just because you don't like losing, just because you are angry and want to say something after you get pwned, NO-BODY WANTS TO HEAR ANY BIT OF THAT BULL-SHIT!

The matter of cheating?I don?t believe that xo and companions are using aimbots. Its just a lil 9mm hack there. I don?t have problems to kill those guys (only unbelievable lag probs) when they are using pdw?s or mp5?s. Until there are 9mm?s in the game. Not even a chance to kill one of them, I usually pistol kill with first wounding and then headshot. Seems like they have no reticule sometimes. But, I give a shit on it. I don?t play RS that much anymore?

Rapid is right at the top of the list of people who call "aimbot" whenever a PC player enters a game.

My best guess would be that it's Xo try to advertise himself.

You mac players are extremely paranoid. About 2 weeks ago, I joined one of dum dum's game, under an alias, claiming to be on a PC, just to see how people would react. After 5 games, I was booted for aimbotting, throughout the 5 games that I was there, 4 different people accused me of having an aimbot.

That's  how you guys think - if he's on a PC and he's a good shot, he must be cheating. So many mac people say "I wish every game had GameRanger support so I wouldn't have to play against PC cheaters." The only game where I saw lots of cheaters was SOF2 before Punkbuster.

I played Medal of Honor through the built in tracker, which involves playing against PC players. I've met a hell of a lot of cheap wusses - leanwalkers with shotties, etc. Throughout that time, I've only met one cheater. The guy who stood in the middle of Stalingrad with a Stg .45, turned in a circle, and, firing off his whole clip, killed everyone.

I play SOF2 on the built in tracker. Now, with Punkbuster, I'm yet to meet a cheater. The same is true with RTCW.

With modern anti cheat mods, PC players no longer have access to cheats. Even if they did, what fun is a game without aiming?

I know for a fact that xo and jo don't cheat. They're just good players who use PCs. Nothing more to it.

Back when ROB hosted rs he had bullshit unis now no one start bitching cause i would put a clip or 2 into him and he would not fall and the gold teams unis would get one shot chest kills ect. I asked him to change the unis and he kicked and blocked me they were bs xoc was ok I guess. Yah well i cant figure out if they are hacking since alot of the hacks for RS are called Silent Hacks. (Meaning host will not figure it out). For the pure fun of it i was looking for mac hacks so a dude made one up..... this is like a yr ago. Its a classic LAN hack. Meaning if you got 2 computers your set. All it does basically is turns on the host options for the indv. player. So you can have auto aim for you only. Same for map ect... I was waiting till RS became less popluar before i ruin it. Then agian i dont play RS anymore. But im willing 2 give the hack to programers or other guys that love screwing with games. Its been switched from 2346 to 15000 (old rs port) that way you guys cant use it for game ranger, and its open source. I noticed some other mac guys allrdy got something like this hack.
