ok, time to make an actual post.

First thing I notice when going through FIVE PAGES OF CRAP is all the baz bashing. This is completely uncalled for, because in no way was he being insulting or "noobish". He was proposing a solution he thought could work, but one that many are not in favor for. There is absolutely no reason why you should all jump upon him,  and in the future I suggest you start behaving courteously if you expect these flame wars to end.

On the AK problem he speaks of:
Immediately I'm going "YES!! BAN!!" because AK has done some pretty rotten things to me and my clan, including trying to get us banned on more than one occasion. But then I realize that AK is not made up of all mean people, there are only a few bad apples...in fact I'm even very good friends with one and I'd hate to punish him for something he couldn't control himself. In spite of Rapids previous action to ban my whole clan for something an individual did, I'm going to say I support AK remaining in the Battle League because I don't hold grudges, and I prefer equality on an individual basis. AK has broken countless rules in my book as well as in *DAMN's, and has managed to squeeze out of more than one damning situation, but I can forgive.

As for the following people:
Snake- you need to be smacked. we're still friends, though.
Typhy- you're really not accomplishing anything by typing half page replies, save yourself from carpal tunnel and only respond to the stuff worth responding to.
Ben- you're making a noble effort to defend your position, and i respect that you're willing to support AK even after all the crap you've been put through on their behalf. And yeah, sometimes i think you need to su   jkjk
SK- in the spirit of BM's post, get a life. get on topic.
everyone- start posting stuff that can actually contribute to the discussion, 90% of this is crap not even worth skimming over.

let's look at the topic here.  should ak be banned. looks like the vocal consesus is no. ok, done, over, thread should have stopped there.  but somewhere along the line someone got presonal with the insults and then things got nasty.  the blame in this situation lies equally on the shoulders of all the particapants (excepting people who decided to be content pointing out facts and refrained from commentary. but that was a tiny fraction of the whole)

think about it, you dont have problems with the clan at all. you're probably taking issue with typhy and rapid.

let's look at this objectively. why do you hate them? what happened originally that made you feel hostility toward them?  if it was something they did were the in a bad mood at the time?

typhy and rapid are human, they have faults. sure typhy thinks everybody is beneith him(note to typhy, i spelled sure correctly!), and rapid often lacks tact, but i would bet that we all have similar problems.  these guys arent so bad once you get to know them.

remember it really is just a game. it is no more than electrons, bits of code, and streams of data that exist in your computer. so why shape your whole life around something that is totaly intangable.

From now on any guest who comes into the forums supporting rapid or typhy or bashing another clan is Rapid or Typhy themself. I truly think typhy has no life outside of his computer. He probably doesn't play soccer and probably doesn't have 30 brothers like he claims. Rapid has nothing better to do than spray grafitti on walls and draw designs with his pencil dick. It's obvious these two are bitter at life and find relief by coming online and creating hell for all of us. Now this might not be something worth skimming but its probably close to the truth. If its possible to ban individuals from the BL then Rapid and Typhy should be "let go". Then when Rapid becomes offended he'll most likely pull AK from the BL therefore forcing the rest of the members out (making him look like an asshole).

I called a recruiting station for the Army and they explained that "satellite internet" is not provided to the soldiers during an alerted state. Personal computers are a no no in FOREIGN millitary bases. SO please...stop the bullshit. As a matter of fact you're idle on GR right now. I don't think that would be allowed especially this close to a war with Iraq.

Simply because if you where connected to 56k (how could you get your own open phoneline first of all) your pings would be somewhere near 500+ to play Rs on a american host. And if you where on satalite your pings would be even higher. Aside from my doubts about how your connected to the internet, i have no other reason to believe your not in iraq.

hmmmm... i am connected to a network, not a 56k crap... it then goes through a router type thing (not really sure but i can find out) and it goes to a sadlite.... i get great pings 40ms... then i get some really awful ones on weird days... right now i took a few SS's some pings are really bad... like in the  1000's...

Your packetts start out going from your dish to a satelite, then they are beemed back to the isp CO (which is usualy in a fixed location in the US) from there they go about the internet on the normal backbone. From the server the packet would have to go to the CO then to the satelite and back to your dish. The average Satelite ping is from 700-1000ms
