What do regard clans as.

Do you think a clan is more of an indpendent country with its own relations, BL is the U.N., and the world is gr? Or do you think a clan is more a sportsteam the BL is like the NFL gr is the nation. Or some other comparison or no comparison?
I personally think clans are like nations. They hve their own relations and rules with other clans. You elect on people in some clans such as FBI, and others have a single leader. Such as AK.

I look at clans in the more traditional sense (at least for a Scott)... clans being like Tribes... tighter then a nation, looser then a family (imagine a real big extended family... thrid and fourth cousins and such).
Clans (or Tribes) had their allies and their enemies... and often these changed.

i think that we cannot draw a 100% accurate comparison to any political structure that we have in the world today
clans are a unique thing, a reflection on both the players and a team as a whole

Just a correction of your post Cossak, |?K| Doesn't have 1 leader at all, Rapid, Monk, and the two main leaders, Then we've got our Commanders, 5150, me, StealthSniper, and Buckshot, if all the commanders agree we can over ride what the leaders say.

Sorry I could not tell. I never saw an AK constitution. I could not think of any examples, AK came into my mind first.

Just remember Cossak... when shagging a sheep, take them to the edge of a cliff.... they push back harder that way.

What Brain isn't telling you is that up in the U.P. (where he goes to school) the sheep are usually spoken for after the first weekend on campus, and then they have to resort to the snow cows... heh.

you are lucky if you can get a fugly snow cow *shudders, resists the urge to hurl yet again*
there is a coping mecanisim that we(mainly the cs majors) found, play counterstrike(i play rs), and watch alot of anime
why anime? well the animators seem to have the same mind set we do. *bounce*
(we suspect they they were cs majors also at one point)

Ok, I'm confused.... where did that come from Typhy? We are talking about clans here... and sheep and snow cows.
And Brain... Houghton is how big? I think I could find a Mac user in the CS dept of MTech if I get out my snow shoes and come up there in a couple weeks...

GRIFT, Mac-using CS majors are few and far between. I can count on one hand the number I know of or have heard of that use Macs amongst our CS undergrads. However, with the release of OS X, I know a lot more CS guys who are considering Macs. I always laugh at them when they reboot into Linux to do work while I can do my work and have it alongside my GUI.

Heh, try working with / leading teams of programmers... ?and using your iMac the whole time. ?Even before OS X, I was pushing them... Now I've actually made a few converts amongst the Java programers, but the Oracle guys are tough to convince.
One of my converts and myself are porting over the last app we did for DTE energy from BEA Web Logic to Apple's Web Objects... both on Solaris Intel machines for now (to try to keep things even.) Later, I'll throw it on my little ol' cube and compare that to one of the Sun servers.
