Well I'm checking out ESPN.com this morning and guess what I see:

Click here to see how great CU football is!

CU cheats to recruit and they still get thumped 40-3. Man that's gotta suck to be a CU fan.

what can you say... cheaters never win and winners cheat.... but that doesnt make sense, well they were stupid enough to get caught in the first place. If you cheat, cheat well =P

Way to misread the article Ace...it was Nuheisal who cheated, not the current CU team.  And it also said it didn't benefit the team so it has nothing to do with the fact that we beat KSU, a team that beat you.

Way to not be able to do math Bondo. The improper recruting ended in the 98-99 school year. That means those kids enrolled in the 99-2000 school year, thus making them all football juniors or seniors this year (depending on if they redshirted or not). Gee, what makes up the majority of the starting roster. Seniors and juniors, I'll be damned. And it was Neuheisel who said that the cheating didn't help the team; the testimony of the guilty party isn't exactly the greatest source for how it impacted the program. But in the end, we still beat you 40-3, hahahah.

If it had impacted the team then they wouldn't just lose scolarships, they would lose wins and bowl games...but they didn't.

Lay off those heavy drugs, they are warping your little mind.  Recruiting violations result in loss of scholarships.  Sometimes, if called for, also not allowing a team to go to bowl games for a number of years.  But take away wins?  Yeah, that would happen.  lol

It has happened Bucc, using a present example, if Jeremy Bloom had played while appealing his case that he should be able to keep his skiing sponsorships while playing football and then the appeal wasn't accepted, CU would get the loss from any games in that period that he played in, even if they won it on the field.  That is why Bloom choose to just give up his sponsorships.

apples and oranges bondo.

the case you bring up is because a player that was ruled inelegable to play may have played.  that is grounds for the other team to protest the games and get a forefit.

recruiting violations are a different animal.

SK, you think my college football team sucks?  Well, I guess you must think Ace and Sin's college football teams suck as well because we beat Sin's and beat K-State who beat Ace's.

And we beat you who beat K-State so we beat K-State by your daisy chaining. You can daisy chain all day long and eventually I'm sure you could find a 1AA team that beat a top ten team. Does that mean they are better? No. We won 40-3. We thumped you, in your house to boot. No matter what happens in any other games, we kicked your asses plain and simple.

I never said that we beat USC...I said we beat a team that beat USC and left it at that.  And I never claimed one team was better than others...just that if one was to be thought to suck that the others must naturally be thought to suck as well.

Well, no matter what the twisted logic you use, nothing would ever say that USC sucks because CU sucks simply because we won 40-3. thus trumping every other argument (besides a bowl rematch if that happened at the end of this year.)

Just waiting for hockey to get into full swing, so I can hear all the reasons that the Av's are better then the Wings, even though the Wings own the cup.  I'm sure they are coming.  And, like CU's football, I'm sure that they will make as little sense.  (yes, I heard all about Bondo's position on it last year.)

40-3, no two ways about that.  that is a major ass kicking.  no sane person can argue that cu is a better team after a loss like that.  it's not like a bad call or a bad play can be blamed.

go blue!

I think the Kings will beat the Avs and go to the Stanley Cup Finals this year...

Back on topic: Bondo, CU beating UCLA was a fluke. I guarantee you if they played again today, we would spank CU pretty damn good. Also by using your logic, we beat the team that beat you (Colorado State), so we are better than you (I dont agree with Bondo's retarded logic, but using it, we are better than he is in his own eyes).

What the fuck, I never said that beating K-State made us better than USC so likewise my logic doesn't say UCLA would be better than CU because they beat CSU.  I never said it made one team better than the other...I said it makes it so they are niether better nor worse.

I said it makes it so they are niether better nor worse.

But 40-3 clearly makes it that USC is leaps and bounds better than CU.
