In my schol today i saw someone wearing the USA Jersey,,,, and it made me want to shread it off his body and stomp on it. What they acchomplished was interly embarresing. The NBA needs to have less preseason games, so the season ends earlier, which would give the USA team more time to practice.

OMG... Are you guys fucking kidding me...

Sorry, but I'm love basketball, my favorite sport... The reason USA lost was due to the fact that no fucking decent NBA players wanted to go to the game as they were scared of injury...

Look at the fucking team... Lets see... It's supposed to be out best?! Wow, that is such utter bs.. As much as I hate to call him good, Where's Kobe... Where's Shaq, Webber, Jason kidd, Mike Bibby, the actual All-Stars.

The truth is most of the players turned down the opportunity to play on the All Star team because, frankly, no other country competes with our best players (besides Yugoslovia, or as I call them "King's east")... The reason we lost is our best were scared of getting hurt, and not being able to be payed for what they really do, normal seasons in the NBA... Yes... Our best rejected the all Stars (makes me pissed...) but... the good news is no other country can beat our best..

Ben

(P.S. GO KINGS... <they got ripped off last year vs the Lakers. Even Lakers fans say Game 6 Kings got fucked over by bad reffing... Even Ralph Nadar (who has nothing to do with bball) wrote the NBA demanding an apology to the Kings and their fans.)... KINGS RULE)

Ben...I think you miss the point...it wasn't like the team was made up of the least talented player of every team...they were still all-star players even if they weren't the best of the best.  Talent-wise they had no reason to be losing.  Even if he team was made up of a bunch of guys who were in the NBA but not starters...they should still have won.

The Kings are cow bell ringing little bitches.

The reason Kobe wasnt there is because he is just tired. For the last three years, he and the rest of the Lakers have played over 100 games per season. Shaq wasnt there because he was already injured during the playoffs when the Lakers stomped on the Kings hearts, then raped the Nets.

The rest of them...they would rather rest during the OFFSEASON then play for a team that was thought to be able to win it all easily.

Bondo: They were all starters and some of them all-stars, but they were no where near the best the NBA had to offer.

Also looking at Ace's olympic baseball reference, Bonds will be 40 when the 2004 olympics roll around - he will have broken down by then as he has throughout his career (that is before he took the pussy body-building chemicals). Another thing...A-ROD would be the shortstop if money wasnt a problem, not Nomar.

Assassin, fuck Kobe. I don't care if you have played in the playoffs. If you are of that talent, it is your duty to represent our country. In my mind, he is even more to blame than the players who at least showed up. Shaq is a different story being injured.

As for the baseball talk, with the exception of 1999 when he tore his triceps, Bonds has never broken down. That's one DL trip in 15+ years of baseball. And I don't care what you say, Nomar rules all. Always has, always will. Go Red Sox!

Yes, but Bonds chokes when there is something on the line...he has every time the Giants have made the playoffs, and he probably would in an international event where he is playing for the US.

Bondo, The only All Stars on the list are All Stars from ten years back. They don't deserve to compete for the world...

Assassin, no... just no..... That's all I can say. First of all, how can Kobe be tired...  How long has he had off? Over a month! Riiiiight. He didn't play the same reasons several of the King's players didn't... Also, if you consider winning a game that everyone, even Lakers fans, told me was bs, then yes, you're right.. That's right, Lakers fans even saw the unfair reffing the in 6th game. Kobe practically tackling Mike Bibby and nothing being called. Lakers won from BS. It wasn't the Lakers that killed the Kings, but the Kings shitty freethrow shooting and the awful reffing did it.

Bondo, Bonds has been the most clutch September player of his generation. No one is better in a pennant race than Bonds. Yes, he has not fared as well in October, but he has not played as many games in the postseason compared to all his pennant race experience. I'll take Bonds any day of the week, in any situation.

If you really want to tear someone a new one, all eyes should be looking at Kevin Garnett, Tracy McGrady, and Chris Webber (soon to be in jail). Those three have absolutely zero excuses for turning down a chance for playing for the national team besides their own greed.

Ace: Sorry, it is looking like Alex Rodriguez is going to be the best SS to ever play the game, period. Breaking his own marks for HR's and RBI's in a season this year, there is no stopping him. Not to mention that A-ROD is also two years younger than Nomar.

As, I agree about those guys as well, but Kobe deserves to be torn a new one just as much as they do. Webber played only 5 games (the finals went 5, right?) less than Kobe. Either way, they ALL should have been there.

As for A-Rod, bah.
