Soldier of Fortune 2 and Netscape 7

I noticed nobody was talking about these yet.
Netscape 7 came out a couple days ago. I just downlaoded it. And for you OS X users, I want to say GET IT. It's a nice improvement over anything else I've used in a long time. Faster then the others (not that I've timed it, but it feels faster). It's not the netscape I used to hate.
SOF2 - was released yesterday. Has anyone besides us ordered this yet?? This is a great game!

Personally, I prefer Mozilla. It's based on the same engine as Netscape but seems to load pages alot faster. Despite a few bugs and html rendering problems, it works for my needs.
Bah, I'd get SOF2 if I had a friggin decent computer(iBook) to play the game.

SOF2 is alright, acept its kinda boring after a while. its got that type of gameplay of finding a switch then finding the door yoou unlock.

Does anyone know if there's a soldier of fortune II demo?
I played it at macworld for a little while, the gameplay looks cool, but I didn't really play long enough to do much. Still...looked cool overall.

I haven't seen anything about a demo on the site or anywhere else yet. I dont' think MacPlay is big on demo's.
Electronicjo, have you tried 7 yet then? It's running faster for me the Mozilla was. And I haven't noticed any of the rendering bugs yet.

Netscape 7 is the best browser i've seen in a while.
Its basicaly mozilla, with great features like built in AIM, and tabbed browsing. Being able to add skins is also a great feature. To anyone who hasn't seen Netscape 7, i highly recomend you check it out.

i just wanted you to know that this made my day. i laughed my ass off.
i don't think anyone actually has sof2 in their grubby little hands yet, so it being supported on gr isn't an issue yet. also, if i remember right, moh wasn't supported on gr for the first week it was out.

hmm, i completely disagree with that statement. i have an older mac, and the speed difference really shows. netscape 7 boots up and runs faster then any modern browser i have ever used (even opera). little things like gif animations run smoother too. on the other hand, the latest version of mozilla is slower then a geo going up a hill.

Jeb, it's a much better multiplayer game. Have you tried that yet?
Viper, no, we just ordered the copies over the weekend, so not in hand until mid week sometime.
