By current standards, 16 MB video cards are obsolete. 32 MB is considered a minimum these days, I believe. If you can afford to drop a new video card into the G4, do so. You'll have a much better gaming experience. You could probably pick up a Radeon from eBay or the like without too much expense, although it would be very wise to do some research into what video cards are compatible with your computer (and more importantly, which are not compatible).

You probably wouldn't have much trouble running it with the Rage 128 card, but you'd have to really knock down the detail settings. Hell, I had to turn down the detail settings in RtCW on my G4/733 with a GeForce 2 MX in order to get framerates above 30.

Well, the G4 450 is the one with the Radeon 32 mb. So that one shouldn't have any problems?

Man, I wish they'd get a demo out really soon so I could definately tell what will work and what won't (very well).

I should think that a G4 450, running X and using a Radeon would run the game just fine. Of course, only trying it will actually show the truth. : \

Bondo and Mauti are running it on G3 400's.... Mauti's is an iMac, which means it's probably only got an 8meg ATI rage (maybe a 16meg).  Still worse then what you have, and they aren't really complaining.

Either way, the G4 450 with a Radeon is in the game specs, so stop wondering.

BTW, the specs for MOH are lower then RTCW... and it shows... graphics (for MOH) are much smoother on my GeForce4 even.

Okee thanx y'all! I e-mailed Aspyr if they could tell me the minimum date of when the demo'll come out, and if they say around August, then I'm buying it. TIMMAH!

I have run both RTCW and MOH on a G4 466mhz, geforce 3, and 768megs of ram. and i must say that for me, wolf runs alot faster than MOH. Even though my proc speed is below recomended, i average at 50-65frames per second with everything on high. In moh, i get 40fps, with medium settings, with a ocasional framerate drop at like 15frames per sec.
I can play a game that isn't recomended for my computer at a good level, but a game that should run on my computer well doesn't (even though its based on the same engine) wtf is up?
