Can you do you a mod where the original operative camo face textures are overwritten with the [operative name here]_des_head.rsb texture, but put that balaclava over the faces so in the game it looks like they are all wearing balaclavas?  Like the operatives in your HK ITD mod.

What I did was use the rsb<->bmp converter to make the face textures bmp files so I could edit them in PSP (I can't get the rsb plug-ins to work). ?Then I converted the original DTD balaclava face texture. ?In PSP, I used the eraser to erase the face from the original DTD face texture, so the part where the face goes is empty. ?Then I clicked select all, cpoied it, and pasted it onto each face texture. ?This made balaclava R6 operatives.

But Coco, I need some help. ?Below on the left is an R6 balaclava operative that I made, and on the right is one of your balaclava operatives. ?How do I make mine as sharp as yours, so it's not so blurry and blocky? ?You're an excellent texturer, so please help me out. Grin

Thanks Frepp...   oh, BTW...
to get the Rogue Spear RSB Plugin that came with your RS/UO CD, just simply open up PSP, under File, go to Preferences, then click on File Locations, then click on the tab that says "Plug-in Filters"    Now, click on the "Enable Folders" box, then under the folder selection, next to Browse, at the very end of the string, type in "Plugins"

Close it up, then make a new folder in your PSP folder that, of course, is titled "Plugins"...  then, copy and paste the RSB Plugin from the RS/UO CD into that same folder.  Now you should have an RSB viewer through PSP.  IF it doesn't show, then you simply have to add one more step: go to File, click on Preferences, then click on File Format Associations...  in there, you'll actually see "RSBBitmap *(*.rsb)"   ...just click on that and you're set.  Just remember, when viewing RSB files, you can not simply view it under the "View all Formats" setting...  it has to be set to RSB view.

Hope that made sense...

I actually have a mod pretty much ready which is DTD reserves 2, the original DTD reserves overwrites the default operative faces with gasmask faces, the newer one will have the reserves broken down into winter, urban, desert, wood, etc...instead of the specialties being the only difference. SO you can match up the appropriate faces wit the uni's. The balaclavas have the appropriate camo patterns and the faces underneath are different. Of course all the inventory images will reflect the changes like the original DTD reserves. When I get time I'll throw it out there for you guys!

KEWL!!! those resrerves have always been such a good idea. are they still unbelieveably huge?

btw it says in your operatives mod tyhat they are all part of a certain storyline "more in the works". is that in our future too?

Coco...  you are a GOD!  Grin

You know, it' gotten to the point now that whenever I run a singleplayer game, I only use your SEAL or HK ITD skins... I know, it's sad, isn't it...  and speakin' of which - I'm thinking of adding an RLTC update review/interview patch on our site, sooooooooooooooo...  since you're doing a few hundred new uni's for RLTC, perhaps I can snag some of your time for a brief Q&A on a skins update.  I'll check with GD as well for this kind of input.

Later ~
