Just curious why the thread Typhy started saying how good the admins were doing was locked?  It didn't appear to be spam filled, off-topic, or in any way offensive.

I mean, there is reason to lock the unconstitutional thing as it has become spam and off-topic, but why prevent them from recognizing how well the BL is running?

Even i'm not an admin, i'll answer it.  It was[/] off topic, it should have been in the battleleague section.

Though, if you want to start a revolution to overthrow Ace, I don't think i'd mind... because Ace is the personification of ALL THAT IS EVIL AND UNHOLY IN THIS CRUEL WORLD!!!

Good work on locking the unconstitutionality thang though(especially cause i got the last words which were anywhere near ontopic... I win!)

This is Genral Gossip, most everything can be posted here. It's not limited just to chats, I can complement the Admins here, theres no problem with that.

Um...seems like I can't take a week off anymore, can I?

I'm going to respond to some things in the locked pledge debate.

Yes, jn. members are clearheaded.  Unfortunately, we are rapidly getting new responsibilities.  I, for example, will not be here for another week - and then after that I'll be in town 6 days and then out of town again for another 2 weeks.  I miss wrath's wry honesty, blackhand's republican lucidity (he's truly a rare breed), and roy's clever irreverency.  And of course my own grating monologues...

By the way, I just found out today that German, the foreign language I have taken at school for 10 years now, will not be offerred next year at my school because they couldn't get a teacher.  Not only does that drop my GPA a lot over the next few years (I would have been having honors and AP credit, but now I'll have to take some regular class) but I don't have an easy way to continue my German studies.  I don't want to start off in Spanish I as a sophomore, which is about my only other option.  (or french)

So I'm in a bad mood.

It really pisses me off though that I no longer hold the biggest thread.  It took a huge amount of mental energy to create those posts...and look where it got me >:-(

Sigh...and yes, the terrorism one was formerly the biggest I believe.  Why is the pledge locked now though?  I guess there could be more to be said...

example:  you're wrong and I'm right.

Well...that's what I think anyway.  Also, my @$#% computer broke again and so I'm having to post here...who knows when I'll next be back.  Sigh.

This is depressing.  Oh, and as long as I'm boring you with my personal life - my girlfriend is spending the whole summer in Portugal.  (She's Portuguese)

So next year I'll be trying to learn Portuguese (outside of school)...but anyway, it sucks being away from her for 3 months...and I think my parents are getting tired of expensive phone calls...international rates from here suck.

GRRRR....

Give me some sympathy posts, those with nothing better to do.

Lol, talk to your Cell Phone company, often they can give you better rates than can your other companies.

all i have to say about the unconstitutional thread is that i WAS trying to stear it back on topic and obviously some admin wasn't going to let that pan out
but come on, that could have been the first thread to break 200 posts

in the admin thread the rwas lots o spam that wa deleated
i think jeb and ejo had a 2 posts say brown noser(jeb said brown and ejo said noser or something like that) and then i had a comment of
'OMG teh spam
make it stop PLEASE MAKE IT STOP!!!'

p.s. i think grifter locked my thread cuz he started the most posted thread

As i stated it in the BL Forum I locked the Good Work BL admins thread as well as the the pledge of allegance, uncontutional thread because both  are only spam threads anymore. I deleted few posts at the admin post(look how many views this thread got!)

I also lock this thread now.
