Get it there. ?It is a gread server that Grifter had opened for everyone to meet when GR is down.

for some reason, only a handful of people ever bothered to use the kdx server.  don't know why.

we will be leaving the kdx server up, but we are also now experimenting with a program that is very gameranger like.  it wont have the game rooms that automatically launch like gr (sorry, we don't have the time to figure that little bit of scripting out.  finding the app is one thing, but then getting it to connect is another).

but it will be a little more user friendly for the average gameranger user for when gr is down.  later we'll figure out which people like more for when gr is down.  look for more info on the macclans site.

the other thread i was posting this to was locked, so i guess i'll continue it here.

as for finding where to change the addy.  open the preferences window.  there are tabs along the top.  the second tab from the left is for server.  the top line is the server addy.  change it to 'xrup.com'.  leave the port number alone (3278).

like i said before, this is only meant as a backup for gameranger, but it will be up full time, since you never know when gr will go down.  so feel free to use it.
