Has anyone seen the movie "Closer" with Julia Roberts and Natalie Portman?  It came out on DVD today and I thought I might buy it to watch with my wife.  Did anyone see it at the movies?

What? Saw was entertaing but it was far from excellent, realism seemed to play no part in it.

Jigsaw killers are not known for many in real life, but there are several of them so i would say, yes it had real stuff on it, it rocks, it deserves to be viewed.

Yeah the part where the guy with cancer gets shot with a shot gun, then gets up and casually walks away is super realistic.

GhostSniper: my feeling about Closer are very mixed: personally I think the actors play too algid - you have the feelings it's more a play than a movie. Otherwise the last 15 minutes are just great and leave a lot of room for discussion what the director wanted to tell us.

My friends feelings are also very mixed. Some found it superb while others found it just boring.

To sum up: don't buy the movie - rent it and judge yourself.

Bye,

Mauti

Blood for the Blood God!

Watched Battle Royale two nights or so ago.  It was ok... very bloody.

A few weeks ago though I watched a movie called American Astronaut.  It was B&W, kind of like Eraserhead as far as Cinimatography goes.  ANyways, it was a really awsome movie.  So awsome infact, that I bought it.  Its a very low budget film, but I recommend it to all.

I had a look at this movie called Layer Cake. From the trailers it looked like it would be another Guy Ritchie wannabe film out of England...however, it was great. Nothing like Snatch or Lock, Stock, and to smoking barrels. It was a good film that never kept me on my toes until the end of it

I just watched eternal sunshine of the spotless vagina.... I mean mind. IT was really good, however it would've been better if the person I was watching with handn't guessed what the twist was half way through the movie.
