Most fun clan?

Brain speaks the truth.  Heres how it went down...
(If you, like me, don't care what I have to say, for the love of god ignore the italicized paragraphs)

At the dawn of time two foolish n00bs  wandered into a compUSA to buy these new bondi blue "computers" everyone raved about.  Being foolish n00bs, they bought said computers, and got right down to buisness in a crappy warcraft II league.  After consuming to much fresca they formed a clan by the name of "the janitors"  After some shady practices they were banned forever.  But they learned a lesson.  They may not be bigger, stronger, smarter, or wiser than other gamers, but they sure were graced with a skewed sense of humour, and at ages 14 and 15, they sure as hell were no younger than the average gamer.

Two years later, (winter 2000/2001) they came upon r6 and GR.  They started a clan: [Janitor].  they had a following, but failure ensued, and they abondoned it.  They were terrible, but, as they were two years older, they were more coordinated, and quicker learners than before.  they rose into the ranks of one of the 3 premier clans, POD by name. (the others: SiX, SEALs)  During their ascent to greatness they discovered a foolish anti-clan (Syrup), and more importantly, a comic genius in that clan: Jesse.  The impression was everlasting.  

During the Summer of 2001 POD dissapated.  Only one choice was truly open to them.  Re-open the [Janitors].

With the memories of their Warcraft II havoc-making in their minds, jesse in their hearts, and fresca in their stomachs, blackhand and preciousroy recreated the janitors (jn.)  Hilarity ensued.  However, the founding members only let 2 mor in their ranks, their old clan leader wrath, and some crazy kid who followed p-roy around back with the [Janitor]s, Loudnotes.

All became, to some extent, inactive.  Sadness ensues.

That is the history of the Janitors, in a very short nostalgic synopsis.

So, in short, during 2001 there were dozens of good players in maybe 5 or  6 good clans.  The best of them (SiX) were  good enough to have alot of fun with it, cause they always won.  Some good, but not SiX material players (some of POD, jn., Syrup, some of the SEALs)  didn't care that they only sometimes won, and since it was a game, had fun with it.   Lots of tking, I assure you. But the introduction of RS, an influx of new players, and the loss of most SiX, SEALs, and others ended that.

A travesty.  A tragedy.
But now you have (unt I'm told.  And no doubt other good players.  Its not necessarily worse (Dont kid yourself, it is!) just different. (Don't let his PC crap fool ya, he looks down on you all.  All of you I say! Alllllll!!!111)

i guess if we seem funny to you. its because Cunt was formed as a joke clan. Bigpat is my best friend (in real life) and we got bored, and started out to have fun. Fun to me is not worrying. DVS from (unt just might be the funniest RS player in history. DR was my fav clan, to bad they aren't around much anymore. btw, i like the story roy

(unt is the funnest clan, but who can ignore all the noob clans and the newbie clans. they play so hard and die so EZ, camping, rushing, and nading to there deaths...but the funnest part about those clans is when they kill a vet. just 1 guy in the RS game and they say "OWNED" or "DIE". that really cracks me up. they never see the ? ? ? ? or the ? ? or when you open the door and ? ?and they are like ? ? ? those are the funnest clans to me

jn.preciousroy i have to add someting:

1) *ANGELs* were also a state of the art clan - no whyning, they had an unbeleavable teamplay: they were not that skilled ( evryboday for its own ) but their teamplay was awsome. And Unbeattable.

U said the truth that after RS hs come, all went down. The game was no more the fun it was before.
New players - Whyning b/c of lag - although most ppl having cable and a ping under 200.
When i started most ppl had 56k connections - and that was really fun u needed luck, skill and more luck to win, and u had to learn how to use the lag for your agvantage, but today evreybody bitch arround b/c of lag or little delay.

I have to mention one player who ; DAMN CDiabolo. HE played on hosts with 600 ping and owned.
We always had fun - with lag and without and we always could laufg about our fault and stupidness inside the game.
That was the differnce to nowadays.

hehe... maybe a lil *NADS history.....


once upon a time there was a noob. This was a true noob, who had just gotten GR and was trying to decide on a name to use. You see, he was so noob he had never used an online gaming service before, and he didn't have any online aliases. After toying around with the names of various charachters from the Metal Gear series for a couple months, he decided it was time for a new name.

So, on one fateful day a in June of 2001 when he was a bit less noob and knew what clans were, he was trying to decide on a new name and happened to be listening to Anti-Flag. Lo and behold, their song "Captain Anarchy" comes on. Well, he thinks, that's a pretty good name, but it looks kinda lame all alone. It needs a clan tag. After toying around with a couple other obscene words, he decides on *NADS which is less offensive tha the others. Thus *NADS begins.

And thus it stays for 6 months. A single member of a noob clan. During this time, he loses most of his noobness and becomes more ownage. and then, on that fateful day in december, a certain "cookie" asks the dreaded question:

"hey capt, can i join *NADS?"

Now, Capt. does not know cookie. capt. has barely even seen cookie around. but he says:

"ummm... sure."


and that is how *NADS became a true clan with enough members to participate in CBs.

why not chime on on the history of taf(yea, it's dead pretty much, but hey it's a history)

it all started one about 10 months ago...
*make up your own flashback effects here*(you've seen enough movies to make up some good ones)

i had just gotten the full version of rogue spear and had begun to play regulary

unlike most noobs, i realized that i sucked, bad, i mean REALLY bad(you might almost say bondo bad), so i decided that i was going to go and work on training my self to be better, i wanted to be in a clan, but not just any clan, SWAT. (ath this time they were 6-0 and sitting at the top of the bl)

*flash foreward to a few months later*
so now it's a few months later and i want to be in a clan, ANY clan. i fancy my self to be a fairy good sniper, and i am actually doing fairly well, especially using the styer scout from CS2. and so one day i joined  a cs2 sniping game with mtr3 maps. and pretty soon i found myself among a few people who are are fairly evenly matched as snipers(it was about 50/50 odds on any of us getting a kill) were were picking each other off, picking ppl out of trees off the ground, across the map. having the a grand old time, and then the thought hit me
why not start a clan?
so i lobbed the question  to the best player out there at the time and suprizingly he said yes. the rest of the players in the game agreed in short order. that left one small detail left unresolved, the name. we settleld on [ESS1] or elite sniper squad 1(it was late at night, give us a break)
i went to bed that night feeling pretty good about myself, i was the leader of a new clan.

when i woke up the next morning recruiting began for the new clan

the first guy who showed up was an assault player, and forced me to realize that we needed to have more than just snipers in our clan. and so right then and there i changed the clan name to taf(to reflect the new scope of the clan). i also realized over the night that our clan needed to have a purpose so we didnt die a few days after being formed. so then i set  a lofty goal for TAF, our goal was going to be to hand swat it's first loss on the bl!

well to make a long story short, swat desolved before we ever cbed the and we had 15 straight losses and then  i left the clan when i came home from college due to the fact that i couldnt play with them any more. and now taf still kinda exists but it's pretty much dead now

It's fun playing with any clan.  Like cookie said, that's what its all about....fun....i try not to forget that.

There are lots of clans that I find it fun to play against in normal games, but when it comes to cbing against, It has to go to the former KotA and now *NADS, both offer a good chalange, good hosts, and no complaining at all, joking around the whole time, talking etc. Makes for some great battles.

I think our clan is rather funny when you consider the Schitt family we're involved with. ?We make it fun playing RS as a team in any game we join and definately funner in CB's, where action gets more intense.

Oh yeah, SK, where you ever gonna get a teamate and come CB us? ?Or were you just saying you'd CB us? ?I think it'll be fun killing you in a private room in a game that counts...

Hm, most fun? well right now id have to say im having a lot of fun playing with good ol aHa!
to my view, clan dudes take the game waaaay to seriously, and arent much fun to play with(you see, i am a noob, i have not been on GR for more than a year, so I die constantly, unless i get lucky)
but, i do like *NADS
