Author Topic: DAMN Sponsored 3v3 Tourney  (Read 3908 times)

DAMN is sponsoring a 3v3 (and 1v1) RS tourney. ?It will be a double elimination bracket system run through two threads in this forum. ?Games will be 10 games, 5 per host (or 10 on a neutral host). ?Along with me, Infection will be working as an admin. ?We will also find a few others to help out with the following. ?The two players/teams assigned to play will talk and find a time at which they can play (each round will be given 4 days to be finished, don't sign up unless you will be able to play a CB once every few days and have a fairly accomidating schedule). ?You will then report the agreed upon time to me and we will make sure someone is on GR at the time of the CB to make sure everything runs smoothly.  The two sides can also do a CB without notifying us if you happen to both be on, but as there are strict time barriers, any unclear curcumstances will result in both teams recieving a loss(yes, I can figure something out to make this work). ?Otherwise, rules are the same as the DAMN BL rules. ?Good luck to all entrants.

This thread is for the 3v3 Tourney, all who wish to sign up for it please reply.

Well, I'm this close to cancelling the 3v3 portion, we only at most have three teams at this time and there are only two more days of sign-ups to get 5 more.  So if you want this tournement to go on, get people to sign up.

Nice turnout on the 1v1 though.

For 3v3
1 seed is the AK Rapid/Typhy team and they play the 4 seed the -U- Nighthawk team.
2 seed is AgT Voodoo team and they play the 3 seed the (unt Farmer Jeb team.

From now on refer to the Tournement First Round thread.

If any team fails to play (as some sign-ups weren't really solidly confirmed) then I'll let you take their place, as this is a smaller tournement I wouldn't have a problem extending the first round to allow for that to happen, but unless one of the current teams drops out, I can't get you in.

is this 3v3 tourney still going on? i'm not to sure if my so called team would be ready to do this by tomorrow night. Bigpat has been realy busy with work and his car. I haven't exactly talked to him, but our friend is having a big 21st birthday party tomorrow. and we can't exactly miss that. Anyhow we may have to forfiet, or let someone else fill in for us

As there are less teams in this tournement I have no problem having the first round last the whole week so I'll take results through the end of the week-end (at least the first round can be this long).  But if you decide to withdrawl, Psyks' team would play Voodoo's team, Rapid's team is playing the U team.  I'm not sure about the status of the U team though so it would be help if you could try to play Jeb.

Well if that's the case, Jeb, I officially accept your team's withdraw and Psyks' team will play AgT in the first round.  The Virus team is now the standby team to take over if U can't play.

teribly sorry about withdrawing. Shit its almost 3am and my friends just left my house. Anyhow i'm glad we got someone to fill in for us, cause i'd feel like shit if i ruined it.  goodluck, and good idea for a tourneyment
