And over in the NL:

Cubs over Braves in 5.

Marlins over Giants in 5.

There you go, let's hear yours.

If by "in the end," you mean the World Series, both the Marlins and Braves are in the NL. There is the possibility that they could play each other in the NLCS.

NLDS:

Braves over Cubs in 5

Why Braves: Dominating offense. Sosa is only one guy. If Hampton can beat Zambrano, Maddux can beat Prior, though it will certainly be my favorite game of the series to watch. Lopez needs to step up and knock a few homers. Also, both teams need to start taking advantage of rallies. I can't remember how many times no one scored with the bases loaded in the first two games. Ramirez is a damn good rookie pitcher, and then it's back to Ortiz who won't lose twice in a row. Finally, the best offense in the National League has a hell of a lot of post season experience, something the Cubs are... well... slightly lacking. Series tied 1-1 Braves in 5.

Marlins over Giants in 5

Why Marlins: Marlins have had a great year, especially considering they are under new management. They've been smart about not letting Bonds having too many chances to make things happen, and Lowell is back. Finally, let's face it. If Ponson can't get a win for the Giants, you know they're in trouble. Series tied 1-1. Marlins in 5.

ALDS:

A's over Red Sox in 4

Why A's: While I myself am a Red Sox fan (second to the Braves) I just don't think that they can take down the pitching staff of the A's. Even with Mulder out, the Sox still have to go through Hudson, Zito, and Lilly. They've already lost to two of them, and Pedro took one of those losses. It's going to be hard for the Sox to come back from this bad start, but I don't see how the best offense in the American League cannot win any games. So I'm giving them one. A's up 2-0 in series. A's in 4.

Yankees over Twins in 5

Why Yankees: You know Clemens is going to win, so there's one more for the Yankees right there. However, the next few games are going to be in the dome, and nobody likes turf, but the Twins have the experience. That is a big factor for me. There are going to be some fast grounders in the infield, and Soriano looks like a horse... Uh, I mean, hasn't been at the top of his game in the first couple games. In the end though, Yankees are just clutch. If it's the ninth inning and you're playing against the Yankees, be afraid. Be very afraid. Series tied 1-1. Yankees in 5.

NLCS:
Braves over Marlins in 7

ALCS:
A's over Yankees in 7

World Series:
Braves over A's in 7

It's all about the muthafuckin' A's. They're for real this year, and maybe they'll actually make something of it for once.

Because American's, arrogant as we are, naturally assume ourselves to be the best in the world?

Maybe it's because we have 2 canadian teams. (Nice move MLB! Very slick... good loophole...)

Well, maybe it's called the World Series, is because we popularized baseball in America.
