This movie is awesome!  everyone who hasn't needs to watch Planet of the Apes and all 4 sequels (I've only seen the first movie but it was great!)

It makes me appreciate Bander's mod a whole lot more too.  Very cool stuff.

The movie is basically a bunch of really bad actors wearing cool costumes making a political statement about how mankind is going to destroy itself  (yeah! Cool)

Also it's very ironic---it stars Charlton Heston, the NRA spokesperson freak......and he shoots off a lot of guns in the movie......

EVERYONE WATCH THIS COOL MOVIE!

......dunno what the remake coming out is gonna be like though......

Loud, i don't really see any irony about the NRA and Heston, but remember this was before his NRA days.

And for the love of God, DON'T SEE THE SEQUELS!

wait, did you just call one of the greatest actors of all time a freak?

Well, ok he is a freak, but he also made arguably the greatest epic of all time, Ben-Hur. Not to mention Hamlet, Julius Ceasar, Ten Commandments, Touch Of Evil, Antony and Cleopatra, and of course Airplane and Wayne's World 2.
