Hey, all. I'd like to ask the community for help with a little something. The story is at the |MP| site.

I'll try to help out a bit. Smiley How long do you have though? I probably won't be buying many mountain dews until next week.

The promotion ends on 18 August 2004. There's time. The only reason I'm trying to gather codes as fast as possible is because the XBoxen are limited edition items, "while supplies last". Thanks for the help, Mellow. : D

Loth,

I would love to help, however being over the other side of the Pacific means that we dont get mountain dew.

Good luck with your collection though.

Loth I'd love to help out, but I'm afraid I don't drink Mountain Dew.

Time for a Simpsons Reference.

Episode: "Homer vs. New York"

This was pre-9/11, and Homer had gotten drunk and let Barney take his car. After a while, he was notified that it was illegally parked outside of the twin towers. So he goes to NY, and finds his car, but there's the lock on the wheel, so he can't drive it away until the cop shows up at a certain time. Anyway, the point is, there's a street vendor that's selling khlav kalash, and homer buys some. Then when he asks for something drink, he is offered mountain dew or crab juice.

"Ewwwwww...I'll take a crab juice"

The Simpsons truly have it all.

The codes are going to be on promotional cups at convenience stores, too. I haven't seen any of them yet (the 7-11s around here are all running the Pepsi/iTunes promo cups right now), but even you non-Mountain-Dew drinkers can get those cups to drink whatever, lesser beverage you wet your whistles with. : D

Loth, I have yet to locate any of these "promotional cups" you speak of. Perhaps it's only a big city thing?

Same here, actually. The 7-11s around here are still running the Pepsi/iTunes promotion, so if 7-11 is one of the "local convenience stores" that is doing the Mt. Dew promotion, it hasn't started here yet. I have yet to check the other convenience stores.

I'd be glad to help. I just bought a Code Red today but they don't have the caps. I'll be sure to pick up the originals from now on.

Actually, every last type of Mt. Dew is part of this. The coded packaging just hasn't been widely distributed yet, it seems. FAQ.

The L.A. area has been running Laker's caps for the last few months on all Pepsi products (meaning no iTunes promotion) so I doubt i'd be able to help you out. However, if I happen to come by any, i'll give them to you.
