Well, this place has been dead of late so maybe a discussion about the Super Bowl will liven things up.  First off, I'm happy for the Patriots, I was cheering for them because of my default choosing of the underdog when my teams aren't there. (The Broncos and Vikings, with some liking of the Steelers (because Kordell went to CU)).

Anyway a great game but not so great of commercials. My favorites were the Bud with the texan in the jersey bar (Dale Earnhardt Jr. one was moderately funny), the beer (miller lite?) with the guy's pet bird snatching them from the caf? and then getting a bra, and finally the Barry Bonds and Hank Aaron one.

Yay for the pats!

I won $50 from my friend because he took the Rams by 14 (the pre-game spread)

It is nice to see the underdog win against one of the best team's put together in NFL history.

Hell, it didn't look like there was any chance of St. Louis winning by 14 so it was a safe bet.  Lets see the bookies go with that high a line again.

Heh, the best was in 95 when I won $10 (a damn lot of money for me at the time) on the Niners with the 21 point spread.

I have to agree with Bondo, the ad featuring Barry and Hank was one of the more comical ones of the game.

Some ads that you managed to leave out however were:

1) The Lipton Brisk ad when the execs fire all of the puppets because the new Lipton "marketed itself" ?Grin

2) Cedric the entertainer telling his friend what to say to a woman and accidentaly saying "so how much" after recieving a Bud Light

3) The Bud Light ad spoofing "BattleBots" battles -- the mini-frig destroying the other robot after the other robot tried to steal the Bud Light inside

4) the bud Light ad with the silk sheets

Right you are about the Bud and Bud Light ones I left out, but only because I lost them behind the other great Bud and Bud Light ones.  Damn Bud knows how to advertise.  Oh and the one with the bird that I said might be Miller Light was Bud Light as well.  About the Lipton Brisk, I didn't find it that funny although it was one of the more creative ones.
