Bah, you guys are fucking douches if you are judging AFI just on Leaving Song Part II and Girl's Not Grey. For the record, AFI really hasn't been traditional punk since Very Proud of Ya. Everything since Shut Your Mouth And Open Your Eyes has been more dark, hardcore Misfits sound. I suggest that you listen to some of the rest of their stuff before calling them the "new hair metal." I don't see anything wrong with the new video. Admittedly, the new album isn't their best work, but it still kicks the crap out of most other stuff. However, give me Black Sails any day of the week.

I agree with cow, pop punk does suck. I recently decided to classify any of the such type music as simply "pussy". So let's just make an example of Ace (nothing against you, you just happen to like pop punk); Ace says "time to listen to some pussy" and pops in AFI.
Pussy is a registered trademark of bronto, every time someone uses the word Pussy when referring to Pop Punk music, bronto recieves $.25.

It seems pussy is on dope,ah i mean cookie. So agressive, jesus, Bronson music didn't do her well.

Anyway I don't listen much to AFI. Only great song imo is God called it sicked today. Yesterday I rediscovered Lagwagon's Violins which is quite a cool song.

I could imagine that Bronson music sounds like The Young Gods playing Kurt Weil - Salomon Song. Total pyscho music especially for non german speakers is this the total ?bercrap song(the swiss german accent is very cool). Get it now!

If you want to listen to punk, listen to Pennywise (not sure how many of you know who they are). Anyway, you can catch them this year on the Warped Tour, so buy your tickets and go find them.

That was Jason Thirsk and it was in 1996. The remaining members and the new bassist went on to create Bro Hymn Tribute in his honor which is now used as the closing song to their act.
