Hey guys,

I have a eMac 1.25 Ghz G4 and a playstation 2.  Currently my computer is upstairs while my PS2 is downstairs.  Is there an adapter that will allow me to play my PS2 on my eMac.  It seems if the older macs could do it (horrible quality I know) then the eMac or other macs should be able to do it.

Thanks for  your help.

the older macs could do what? there is no adapter that allows you to play a ps2 game on a mac. there was one for ps1 games... but never one for ps2. what u are probably talking about is an adapter that allows you to connect your ps2 console to the mac display (except iMacs or eMacs) to use it as monitor, just like your tv.

I'd suggest that if you have a PS2, play your PS2 games on your PS2...I don't really know what benefit playing on the Mac would offer...worse controls, worse performance.

As to using a VGA adapter to play on a computer monitor...that wouldn't work with an eMac since it isn't a VGA monitor, doesn't have an video imput AFAIK either.

Get an Xbox, throw the PS2 out of the window. Problem solved.

The box said "requires Windows 98 or better"... so I bought a Mac.
