Ghost recon and black thorn

do u think there is ever going to be a mac version of Ghost recon or black thorn?  That would really suck if they didn't.  And if they do r we going to have wait 2 years after its came out for window for a mac version

these expansion packs can be converted and used as mods for RS, mauti might be making a tutorial on how to convert them, or even a one button converting thing. So  after you bought the pc version you could convert it.

First of, Ghost Recon is a brand new game, not an expansion pack like Black Thorn is.  If Mauti or someone ports Black Thorn like Covert Ops was ported it will run fine.  As for Ghost Recon, well thats up to a profesional porting house methinkgs.

yeah, ghost recon looks awesome, its based more on 21st century warfare instead of counter terrorism though. yes that game will have to be ported to mac by some developer. but black thorn will be able to be converted easily, just like any other pc mod i think... I dont know how the "Lone Wolf" multiplayer mode will be implemented that way though... How much $$$ is covert ops? i might buy it and use it as a mac mod (after its converted of course)

dont bother covert ops is preety shitty, ive played it on my friends pc. theres like 5 levels, and the multiplayer stinks. but as a mod, the extra mpas would be cool...

I bought Covert Ops ages ago in the hopes that it would run. Using the Bink player, I was able to get the movies playing, and by converting the maps, I'm able to play all the multiplayer ones - which are OK, not brilliant - although the store front map is great fun. The mission-based maps, or at least the first one (which is the only one I've been able to play) are/is amazing. But it won't let me continue in the campaign after I've finished the mission, it just hangs. Well, that was the situation until the patch came out - now I can only play the first map in custom mission mode, and not in single player at all - any suggestions?

But it is worth picking up - if for nothing else, the first mission in the jungle with the waterfall and terrorists in full body armor is great.

actually i beat covert ops, on easy, so it would go fast, and i have to say i didnt really like the jungle one so much, im having a hard time remebering what the levels were because theres no real story but i remeber porbably the best map is the missle silo, you can run around on the surface sniping, or you can go under ground in the bunker, playing around with CQC reminicent of goldeneye for N64.
multiplayer was preety crapy because all that people played was the 2 hospital levels, out side and inside. and they're tiny. like really really small. 2 rooms and a short hall at the best. not impressive at all. oh well. west siddeeee!

also i didnt understand, in the brefing they tell you the terrorists were poor wannabies, and were under armed. but when you actually go to the jungle, they have full body armour and snipers!

you converted it bs? or played it on pc? i thought that it couldnt be converted until the 2.52 patch came out Toby? maybe it needs to be changed a little bit because the patch came out.

Umm, I have Covert Ops... For a few months, for Mac as a MOD... It's nothing new or special... Just three more missions... I cannot wait until GhostRecoun and BlackThron are ported(GR needs new RS engion) and converted(BT)
