I will vapor dude.

But i wonder if there will be anough candles when that war starts that is gathering now. And to be honest: its not easy for me any many of my friends to still send blessings to a nation wich is arming up for a BIG war.
Our blessings go out for the U.S. victims and their families & friends, but not to the "future terrorists" on our side.

regards

For all those of you who think I hate America and want to stage a coup...

Why Ace, how many straight college freshmen do you know?  Oh, I get it, new location, nobody really knows you there..... ok, your secret is safe with us.

I'm just doing my duty in trying to keep the peace where ever I can.

Here's a thought that I did this weak.  I know that most of you are kids, without much money, but that doesn't mean that a few of you, and your parents can't do this yourselves.

Anyway, the local firefighters have been standing at the corners, collecting money for the efforts ongoing in New York City.  So, besides giving a buck or two when I drive by, I decided that I didn't want to just appreciate those that gave their lives to save others there... I wanted to appreciate those that WILL risk their lives here.  So I went over and had 20 pizza's made for the firemen that were standing outside the firestation doing the collecting.  We just put a big not on the top box saying that they were appreciated too, and we shouldn't wait until they give their lives to say so.  I hope they enjoyed them.  I'm sure they felt good about themselves just for someone saying thanks.

So, keep that in mind.  Over 200 rescue works died, trying to save others.  Don't wait until it's too late to say thanks.  If you can, just buy them a pizza or something.   If you don't have cash to do something like that..... no shame there...... just walk right up and tell them "THANKS!  We appreciate what you firemen (rescue workers, etc.) do for us every day."  Trust me, you'll make their day.  And you'll do it before it's too late.

Hehe guys... I didn't mean to actually light a candle outside. I meant to go to that website I put the URL up for and you can like a candle on the internet for all to see.

Actually, I'm hoping I get the pizza from the firefighter. My uncle is a firefighter, and he makes a mean pie.

But all joking aside, GRIFT makes a damn good point. With my uncle and cousin both being fireman, this hits close to home. Many people take these guys for granted until something really bad happens. Giving thanks to them while they can still hear em is a pretty good idea.

LOL Bander. Yes, we all take for granted those services such as FireFighters. I mean we don't think they do to much until something like this actually happens.

Gentlemen,

I think it's great that you all see the point to this and the good will it can generate.  So I call upon all you men of honor.... go do something nice for your LOCAL  Firefighter / Rescue Workers.

Bander.... go buy them a beer.

Loudnotes..... go play them a song (er, maybe that isn't such a good idea ;P)

Mauti, nevermind.... you are probably a bit too busy with the Army now.

Black Sheep.... have your mom bake them some cookies.

Ass(assin)..... get your friends together and wash their cars for them.

Ace.... go get a bunch of soriety girls, take them over and have them flash the guys (too bad for the fire-women, but, heh, it still sounds like a great idea to me!!)

Rom.... quit being a dumbass .... oh, nevermind, you had to quit reading this when I got to the "men of honor" part.

Everyone.... you can do one or any or all of these things, or anything else.  I charge you all.  Go do something nice for your local hero's.  Before it's too late!

Very Nice Grift. I like it a lot. Everyone needs to go and just say thank-you to your local heroes. You wouldn't beleive how much that would brighten their day.

GRIFTER!  Shame on you!

This is time when we should be working together, not making [sniff] meanspirited jokes against [sniff] your fellow Americans.....lets all just be [sniff] friends and hold hands...sing a song of brotherhood (good idea!) and join as one, not [sniff] divided and cruel.
