Actually, awhile back I was reading some stuff that Evill was typing in the Construct.  He said you can mention the word Hotline without being banned, like talking about it but not giving out IPs and telling eachother where to download a certain game.

Well here's a great solution for you pun, and one I've used myself before.  

While you are spending that hour D/L'ing it, go to Amazon.com or any of the other places you can order it online.. and ORDER IT.  That way, it comes in the mail in a few days, and you are all nice and legal like while supporting the guys that went to the trouble to write that game for you and the publishers that bothered to port it over to the Mac for you.

This also works in my Universe as Shareware model, since if I don't like the game by the time it arrives, I can send it back unopened for credit or refund (check the return policy of who you order it through first).  

If it's all about being too lazy to go to the store and pick it up, this should work fine for you.

It's not that big of a secret. Just to name a few there's NS, Utt, Weeb. Rumor had it Miller was one, but that was a while ago. Whatever the case, they don't come out and say it, but if you aren't dense and hang around long enough, you will figure it out.

j47, I assume he would have said so, since he's been posting here.

Also, even if that was the case, everyone that's been on GR for more then a month knows (or should know) how Evill feels about pirate software....  Especially someone that plays RS, visits here... and knows about the Black Thorn issues.

OMG...one time, when i was watching gorf, he swore at the admin and stuff and got banned for 30 mins.  So then he says
"Come on Colin, go try it, its hilarious" (well, something like that)  Anyways, i didn't know evill was in the room...and he kinda heard me and banned me for a week.  I deserved it though, i said some pretty naughty things   Grin
(this was a pretty long time ago)
