Hey, does anyone how to do the pistol binocular trick? Supposedly, it allows a user to have a scope on the pistol.

there is a nice trick you can use to get a very accurate pistol or sub-machine gun. you need a sniper rifle or a pair of binoculars in your inventory at the time though. you simply line up the target with the sniper rifle (if it has no ammo, or is not silenced) and let go of the mouse. then change to your silenced pistol. when the reticle is stabalised (after it flashes), and provided your character is not wounded, or terrible with firearms, the pistol will shoot its round precisely where your sniper reticle was. it's nice on missions like the siberian base #1 where you don't have a silenced sniper rifle.
