Looks like NMM have already done something similar - with helicopter deployment no less! Check out the images for the Down Town map...

Unfortunately, the level requires Island Thunder - so roll on the 1.4 patch for Mac!

Embassy would be a good map to convert for a Black Hawk Down style mission (albiet it isn't the same, but even so...)
