Explaining Core Image

Dunno If anyone is interested, but during my break i stumbled over this very detailed and interesting look at Graphics in OSX - or rather more specificly the development from Quartz, Quartz Extreame and now Core Image. ... its a bit techy but not overly... and if your into it... well i dunno it might tickle your fancy!

Don't talk to me about rendering -- i have been sleeping on the floor/sofa for 3 freaking weeks now while this thing renders and re-renders video.
