well wasn't that fun... I'd rather like front row on the new G5 your going to release this next week please steve!

New iPod looks great - id love to get my hands on a black video ipod heh. really looks tasts. shade - thats awsome hehe my G4 glows like a freaking radioactive mofo.

Im sto damn tempted to go get the 20inch iMac... but its just not going to have the "Ooomph" that i need Sad but a new G5 is going to cost so much more ..

Ethion what do you mean 'going back' heh? .. this is SATA baby, about time too!  not to mention PCIe Smiley


As a side note: it seems the ipod U2 Edition has died a quiet death, and (more inportantly) the emac has also been removed quietly from the Apple Store... RIP i guess

lol sorry im a bit slow this morning... didn't get a lot of sleep last night *cough* Wink Wink

funny thing is its the small things like that which are big big announcements really - SATA is long overdue, PCIe is a huge one for us - and like civic said i think this shows the way for what we're going to see in the G5's (when they eventually turn up) but also the shift to DDR Ram and just a whole updating of hardware across the board! good times!

oh and the TV on the ipod... my gut says this is just a wee wee taster of what will really take off where itunes shifts to become imedia selling music tv and films and the whole caboodle - and at proper res for full screen on your imac in front row etc... very good times Smiley

true not new for the G5's But not the consumer level - bringing it and DDR Ram into the iMacs brings this as a standard across the board now.
