it was law enforcement day at the mall here, so our local police dept was around showing off their toys. including the SWAT ones.

almost every one of the guns used has a surefire light on it 'cept for the sniper rifle, and for the public they labeled them very non-specifically when showing them on the wall. very cool tho. the officer behind the counter said the tactical team is dispatched all the time, although very quietly... Cool

i recognised an M4, MP5, some handgun with a light under the end, a gas launcher, a black remington sniper rifle, a couple shotguns (but i forget which), AR-15, and a couple more that i cant remember. (hey u cant take pictures in this case can you? tha'd look kinda suspicious... Huh)

it was all really cool to watch. Roll Eyes

Well, if you live here in the good ol US and the SWAT guys are in a public place they cannot keep you from photographing whatever they have on public display. They may ask you not to take pictures of their faces in the event they are in a undercover assignment, but I'm sure they would not have minded if you told them what it was for.

It was also Correctional Officer's Week this past week. Flags flew at half mass and memorial services were attended. God bless the families of those who have lost loved ones performing duties in Law Enforcement, from one spectrum to the other.
