I believe that a clan should have the right to bet as many sheep as they want. What on earth is the point to a betting system if you can't bet? The problem is, was the bet legit and not an attempt to reinforce a friend's "flock." I have a solution to fix this for next season, but we were very clear on not changing anything midseason, as per the request of several individuals who do not understand how unreasonable it is to tie our hands in the face of this sort of problem.

Hey Ara... you believe so ehh?

Lets say 3 days left of the season... i go to someone and say "Hey" how about your clan cbs us for all of your sheep then next season you can become a member... According to the rules this isnt against them. But it sure fucks everyone else up... This system is flawed... how about people making a clan to bet all 100 sheep in all ladders to another clan? then the clan is done... yet someone else from that clan creates another betting all 100 sheep again....

Clan A with 4 members left.... and 1000 sheep.. Now becuase they either cheated the system... or did was just said above... does this make this team the better team? Better players? or just good con-men?

Doesn't mean you didn't get together with 4 or 5 people before the Season was 3 weeks old to start clans to do just what Eight just said.  Not saying you did that, Stripes, but what would stop someone from doing just that?

I still don't get this sheep system though... It doens't make much sense
If oyu think about it how could iP bet 85 sheep when they didn't have more than 5 (as far as i remember)? It's like betting more than you actually own in poker...
I mean if Stripes agreed to bet his 5 last sheep AND HIS HOUSE ok... but i doubt this is possible.
so WHY is a clan allowed to bet more than he actually owns? If iP had 5 sheep they should only have been allowed to bet 5 sheep. If they would have won they'd have 10 and would have been been able to bet 10 and so on. AM I NOT RIGHT?

nope, iP didn't bet more than they had... they bet their last sheep while ViP bet all their 85. betting more sheep than you own is, of course, not possible.

I talked to punisher a few days ago (who, btw, left the clan)... They seemed to have a kind of "who cares" attitude towards the whole thing.

Nothing, Spike, I was just having a little fun.

So, can the admins confirm a change during the offseason of the sheep system. It's a great system, when done right. I also suggest you guys go to the community for suggestions, IE a democracy. It's always best when running an online gaming league.
