Detroit, where the weak are killed and eaten

WWW
« on: August 02, 2001, 07:20:13 pm »

Hello All,

I just wanted to express my disapointment over the lack of clans willing to CB with SWAT. ?Now, I haven't been around all that long, so feel free to correct me where needed, but the main reason I joined a clan was to clan battle. ?I figured this would be some of the best games I could play in... all good players, thinking, people you know and sometimes respect <g>.

Anyway, I pretty much get along with people in every RS clan out there. ?But, without naming names, I am very discouraged with the responses to challenges to Clan Battles. ?I've heard "no, but we'll friendly CB you..." so many times, it makes me sick. ?It's like they want to have a practice against us, to see if they can win, before taking the chance of having a loss on the clan ladder. ?I say to this, in a rather vulgar way for me:

GROW SOME BALLS!!

Now, before too many people get bent out of shape... I do understand *some* reasons to have a friendly CB.... leader not there to give the ok, none of the better players around, etc. ?However, when they come right out and say that they don't want the loss on the clan ladder.... what is that?

Anyway, as long as a leader from SWAT is on, and there are 3 members on, I'm sure you will never see the words "friendly cb" come from their fingers. ?(I qualify that because nobody in SWAT likes the 2 v 2 games, my favorite is 4v4 or 5v5).

Has this always gone on? ?Or is this something new in the RS realm?

also, I can't post for a while, since this is my 69th post, and that number would look really good on my bike.... yeah, I'm Nikey Hayden.... yeah...zzzzzzzzz.... turn... 2... zzzzzzzz... and charging... hard... on bike 69... Grifter on... his...zzzzzzzzz... Triumph TT..........zzzzzzzz

Yeah Wrath... next time you are on with your clan.... er.. wait a second... er.. nevermind.

Ace, I'll gladly join you to get my ass kicked in a few games of R6 sometime.  My testicles are hanging just fine, thank you.  As for a RS clan battle.... where did all the SEALs go?  I haven't seen Atilla around in ages (I love playing with him, we just kill each other over and over... we seem to play way too much alike).

Back to the point, what's with all these clans not wanting to CB?

and DOH! (I posted #70) now I can no longer dream that I was the one racing around winning the Mid-Ohio Superbike race.... ah well, have to settle for just ridding really, really fast on open track days.

I think they have decided that since Wrath no longer plays R6 much, they don't really even care about R6 anymore...

BTW: When were any SEALs ever on much? Besides Ace, of course...

I don't know about the rest of my clan, but I'm starting to really get sick of cb-ing with #BONE members and doing pointless 2v2's.  Also I hate it when 2 #BONE members who've been in the clan for about a week each battle something established like Wrath's errrrr....former clan.  We are so unorganized it makes me sick.  Plus Bander is never online so our leadership is rarely present to give an "ok"

And the leadership of #BONE is a bit disorganized as well.....

So #SKUL will be happy to battle SWAT in r6 if there are ever 3 of us on.  Sigh....

The main reason I joined a clan was so I could laugh at newbies who aren't in clans....... Wink

I always play worse in cb's anyway.

after re-reading my post, i think im gonna go take it and make a new thread in general discussion

loud, i completely sympathize with u in regards to bone... each week for nearly a month, they would approach me askin for a cb even though i had never heard of the two guys who wanted to cb... normally, i would politely decline because i didnt want to pick up cheap wins, but they started gettin really annoying, so we just shitkicked em.... but NOOOOOOOO, an assrapin wouldnt shut em up, they wanted more... after another assrapin, they still would not shut up.... "wanna cb" flooded my pm box.... luckily, i went outta town and they stopped buggin me

wanna cb?  wanna cb?  wanna cb?

hehe

Yeah I know what you mean.  Originally at least 50% of the members of #SKUL and #BONE were supposed to confirm new members.  Well, I was confirmed before #BONE existed, and then I think Diablo, Vapor, and Marrow were....they are the "clan leaders" now....

but that's it.  So as far as I'm concerned there are only 3 members of #BONE and still the same 8 of #SKUL.

Grif - Part of the reason that we took so long was that we released many members, and needed our better players online, and also our vetren players. Also, I think many clans are scared of you and your wicked fast computers! lol! have fun!

Perhaps you should read your manual which details how to open ports and host online games... hosting behind a router/firewall is a piece of cake.. especially with a Linksys or Netgear router.. any old Joe, Frank, Bubba, or even dumbasses can do it.. Smiley

Wrath, that was uncalled for. I did read my manual, and I set the DMZ (I think) to allow me to host, but its not working right. Also, I opened ports 1000-10000. What is the GR/RS Port? I have a LinkSys Router/Firewall

What? ::looks innocent::

Well.. too bad you didn't open the port RS uses... 12000 if I remember correctly..

BTW: Opening all those ports is like inviting hackers to come and hack you and all the computers on your network.. just a note
