Hi,
Is there a way I can manually change or max out the stat points for all my soldiers in Ghost Recon. I don't necessarily want to use a cheat code, I just want to have a really good fire team.  I'm wondering if the friendly AI will perform any better.

Thanks
T-

The stat points are located in the actor files. The 4 lines below control the stats. The max you can change them to is 8.

<Weapon>8</Weapon>
<Stamina>8</Stamina>
<Stealth>8</Stealth>
<Leadership>8</Leadership>

I'm assuming he is talking about single player but the stats work in multiplayer too.

Wow...hold on a sec...

Is it possible to change the stats for multiplayer games? so you character becomes more accurate, more enduring to shots? That would explain some of the weird pistol fights i've had.. .(yea i know the support guy thingy..wasen't that)

I've even shot a guy with a SA80 once...saw the bullet hit clearly, blood splatter, guy moves back a bit.. .Not even wounded (i know cause he shot me after that and i checked with the stats (b key))

basically my question is...is it possible to cheat with the stats in multiplayer games?

I don't think that is possible, otherwise it would be a major flaw in the game. I think the server enforces the stat points, like when you have serverside weapen mods.

So if the host made some adjustments to his characters, all the players will have the same mod.

Yeah, modifications to the actors' stats are serverside only. Client side modifications are not followed in multiplayer games. I did some stat tweaking in the |MP| Mod, so I know whereof I speak. : )

Thanks for the tip Monoman, it works.  Sorry for not posting back sooner, been too busy playing.  I had to be careful not to accidently up the stats on the enemy too, found the "Heroes" folder inside the actors folder and that did the trick.  But what about the stats for my regular soldiers, do you know where their actor files are located? It's a bit confusing and I'd like to max the stats on all my team characters, not just the specialist.

Thanks again.

The rest of the team would be in the rifleman, heavy-weapons, demolitions, and sniper folders inside the Actor folder. Since the game randomly selects which standard soldiers appear in the list, you will have to change all of the files to make sure you are guarenteed a modded soldier.
