Ok guys, the tournament was designed to be action packed, not to have 1 guy camp at their STARTING POINT, and have the other come looking for him or fall in his camping trap.

What I mean, I just got done battling SilentKiller, and this fool, sat at his homebase camping waiting for me.  In warehouse, he was blue, and he sat at stairs peeking, waiting for me to come up the stairs the WHOLE game.  In storage, he sat at Window.  In Maze, he sat at base.  In Sib1, he sat in one room crouching pointing at the door.  Now, how much more LAME can you get?  If you want to camp, go play GhR.  I will let SK slide, since I know that's the only thing he can do since he sux the big one, but if I hear of him doing this vs others, I won't tolerate it.  End of story.  Nobody should be CAMPING as hard as SK.  There's NO "skill" in camping in a room, pointing at the door waiting for it to open...  

This isn't a "Camp and have the other guy come find you Tournament."

I was going to point out your camping, whether I won or lost.

I don't want people playing "Hide and go Seek" like you did.  If you do it again, you're out.(Don't sit at 1 spot all game and wait for the opponent to walk up to you)

So, for now, back off being such a bad liar and don't be the one flaming.  Had you not sat around the way you did to get your kills, I would not have anything to say.  Being that you thought it'd be funny to sit in one spot all game and wait for me to come to you, I have to now point out this flaw.  We're not here to encourage people to play the way you did(camping in one spot waiting for your opponent to walk up to you).  Crouching and waiting for your opponent to walk up all game, is not a skill.  It's plain lame and inexcusable.  Now pls stop posting nonsense.  

This rule applies to EVERYBODY.  Not just you.  You just happened to make the "Perfect Example" with your actions.

Let's get right onto your bullshit points:


Yet again, typical SilentKiller: If you can't win by reason, win by dumbassismn ( not a word, but what the hell ). I am a member of this tourney, therefor, I am part of this argument.

Excuses such as "not now", "to lazy", and "i dont want to restart" will not be accepted in this tourney. An excuse like "Nah, I can't now, I've got hockey practice in 10 minutes" ( one from pat ) are just fine.

Ok, now onto Casper's comments.



Casper, incase you haven't noticed, what Rapid and I ( and many others soon, I'm sure ) are/will [be] saying is that camping should not be considered an acceptable tactic.

I've been in 3 CBs where camping as played a big factor:

1.) TR vs ICT: Jeb and Ejo picked big maps ( Spa and Nuclear Storage Facility  ), grabed C4 and SA Jammers, found small rooms, and camped. No fun whatsoever, Infection and I left after 3 games of that bullshit.

2.) AK vs AgT: For most of this CB, camping wasn't a problem, it was a 4v4 with some great action filled games. ( AK won, 5-4-1 ), during the second game, Cossack went upstairs and camped. After Monk and I ran around for 3 minutes trying to find him, we backed off to the basement, and decided that we too could play and win the camping game. ( eventually time ran out, because Colin forgot to take the time limit off, lol ). The other game where camping was a factor was the final game, 4-4-1, played at Canals.

At first, everyone came out and faught. It was a great long range fight for about 20 seconds. I killed two AgT's, Rapid killed one. Rapid and 5150 both died. Now that the firefight was over, Monk and I secured the area, checked our backs, and retreated to somewhere we would not be able to be sniped from.

While Cossack camped in his base, Monk and I camped in ours. After about 5 minutes of this, I'd decided that I'd had enough, so I take my peak key off ( I'd hit return twice after peaking so that I'd stay peaked ), Just as I do that, the door opens infront of me, and in comes Cossack, I just barely get him to win the game, and the CB.

3.) MP5 vs KotA: The CB starts out on Rancid's host. As our first map, we pick CL05 Amazon, blue. After Rancid complains about our map choice for 2 minutes, he finally starts the game. He and Pat both grab C4 and jammers, and camp behind couches, and in corners of the gold base, so that the only way to kill them would be a good bounce with a grenade, which would involve knowing their location ( this was an exellent camp by them ). They win 2 games there. They say "just pick a non cheap map, and we won't camp", I won't give in to things like this, so I say "Storage Depot" - Same thing, they camp in the gold base. They win two there, to take a 4-0 lead. I don't feel like going on about that CB, since I've pointed out what needed to be said. They camped in 2 of the remaining game, the final score was 6-4, KotA's favor.

Out of those 3 CBs, the only one which I don't really have that much of a problem with is the AgT one. While I know that both sides can agree that the CB would've been lots more fun without the camping, for the camp filled games, both teams played the same style, therefor, it wasn't one team taking advantage of the other who wasn't playing cheap.

Camping gives you an advantage: Fact.

If both teams camp, the battle is boring: Fact.

Anyone who camps is simply showing that they have less honor than the other player: Fact.

What should battles come down to?

A.) Which team has most patients, and is willing to camp for the longest.

B.) Which team has less honor.

Or C.) Which team is most skilled.

It's the answer obvious?

To start things off, sorry I haven't been 1vs1ing much, I havent been around much and when i have its usally idle or RS.

Secondly, Casper, do you ever read more than the last post before posting your stupdi replies?

Thirdly, SK, why do we continue the bickering, this conflict won't be resolved cause you and Rapid were the only ones there. Unless either of you have some form of ?? or something showing time to prove or disprove the camping or non-camp of SK then there ain't nothing anyone can do about it.

Someone camped so be it, learn your lesson SK, just don't drag it out.

Fourthly, to SK again, you said Rapid is the one starting the flaming, for some one claiming to be anti-flame, your posts seem quite....rude...
