Well then that saves me the work. Thanks Monoman. Btw what happened to EdgeNetwork? Did they close or do they just have a longer downtime!? Last but not least if you need some webspace for a big mod let me know. Beside Fileplanet I also have still some space left on the *DAMN host.

Hi Than you both very much. But it seems that we have no luck. Archive Utility says: "Unable to unarchive "Centcom_Mod" into... (Error 1 - Operation not permitted.)" Stuffit Expander says: "An error occured attempting to expand... The archive may be damaged (Error #17537)  PS. I've downloaded the file 3 times. P. |

Hi Thaks for the CentCom Mod.  But.. I've a few stupid questions... 1. What about DF3 & DF4 mods? 2. Any tutorial explainig converting mods from Windows to Mac? 3. Where can I learn how to make maps for GR? (multiplayer maps) And once again - thank you very much. Peace. T. |

DF3 and DF4 are both map compilation packs so you should have no problem with those conflicting with Centcom. For converting mods to Mac, you need to fix the long filenames, sometimes change the rsb files, and convert the wav sound files to aif. You can find a tutorial for the long filenames under Articles on the front page of Damn. For the rsb files you need to resave them as A4R4G4B4 or A8R8G8B8. Not all the rsb files need to be resaved only those that look like a rainbow ingame. For making maps you will need a PC. You will need PC version of GhR and 3d Studio Max version 3 or 4. The newer versions of 3d Studio Max don't work with the GhR plugin. You can find more info about making maps on a PC here. |
