Hello

I am trying to install IT on my Mac as per the instructions listed on FilePlanet, however it isn't going according to plan.   The problem is that I don't seem to get a folder called MP2 as described.  Here's what I'm doing:

I also have a PC, so downloaded the WinPack300b application.  I then inserted the IT CD, started WinPack and clicked the 'Load Packed File' button.  I then selected 'data1.cab' - it comes up with a warning saying 'this file is readOnly, so some functions won't work'  I click ok, some DOS text scrolls on the screen then the WinPack application works for a while.  After 30seconds, I get a list of what I assume are the files contained within 'data1.cab'.  They're all prefixed with Group0, Group 1 etc.  Whilst the file 'data1.cab' is selected, I choose 'Unpack archive' and choose a location to save the unpacked archive.  The DOS like text reappears and scrolls for ages, and then I am left with a folder called data1.  Inside this folder are all the files that appeared in the WinPack list - still all prefixed by Group0, Group1 etc.  There are about 20 folders with the word Mp2 in the title (eg [Group37]Mp2, [Group42]Mp2_CommandMaps.

Which of these folders do I need to transfer to the Mac, and do I need to rename them ie remove the [Groupx] prefix? Should I create a master folder called Mp2 and dump all the data from the folders with Mp2 in their titles into this master folder?

I hope someone can help me out on this!

Thanks

Matt

PS - I have also done the same thing with the data2.cab file - it unpacks in the same way, with all the [Groupx] prefixes
