Do we have a release date for the Black Hawk Down mod or a near release
date.  Ever since i saw the character shots and some of the map shots I
have been anxtiously awaiting its arival.  I hope its a big hit.

I think we should wait till the BHD mod is eleased before making the BL map pack. THe maps in there look very intresting to me.

I hope the BHD comes out before Ghost Recon has a chance to hit the shelves,
because BHD wont get much play time if it does.

Well i looked all over to find an exact release date from http://www.planetrainbowsix.com/atwar/rs/atwar_mods/bhd/bhd01.asp  but the only place i saw it is on the Damn news but mauti said this weekend =)!

I found it another plcae and they said they were entering the final stage of there beta test!!!

The marines are so good they took a jeep into some Iraq village trying to get ambushed, they refueled 6 times and did everything they could to get ambushed. and didn't!
Then the same people take in a army jeep and try not to get ambushed and they do. but the marines kill them all and go home.

Delays delays delays, always delays ?.?  Whelp, once its converted, I know what im going to be doing for a while.  And it will convert me back to my beutiful Mac ^.^  I just hope it plays ok.  That Red Diamond mod totaly slows me down CPU wise Tongue

It won't slow down your PC! all the RS limitations have been taken into consideration by Lungbutter as far as the maps go, also Peybak has done it again with great looking weapons, low poly models!
As for the mod itself, sorry to keep you all waiting but there has been some little bugs that was noticed right when the mod was ready to be released. Also, now there are total of 5 new maps instead of 2!
When will it be released?   very

Yes, I did; as much as time allowed me to help out. The major bulk of work was done by Lungbutter, Akira and Peybak tho'!

Well, talked to Lungbutter on ICQ a few minutes ago, when I asked him about the release date, he said it better be this f...n' week, hehe!

Damn, that looks SOOOOOOOOOO damn sweet!!!!!!!!! Complete with Helis and Hummers, holy balls! My kudos to Lungbutter, peybak, flatliner and the @war staff for putting this together, and to Mauti the *DAMN leader for the conversion to allow us the opportunity to play it. Well, in the begining, the hummers were part of the map...not anymore...the hummers are now .vcl files. So, yes they can move!

Ahhhhhh how much longer?! it seems like by the time this mod is released everyone will already have ghost recon, maybe even raven shield! Anyway, take this as a compliment @war, the more impatient we get, the better the mod is. Grin

BHD has been ported by our own Mauti and I couldnt be any
happier with the layout of the maps and the new weapons. I
deffinatley suggest that everyone gets this mod.
